Title: HW
Description: ffs - Asked by Matt

Headingley White - October 8, 2007 02:55 PM (GMT)
1. What made you join the Rebels and what on earth made you stay?

Bored at uni, spent a lot of time on 606, got sick of the wind up merchants (though I myself was a WUM on other boards), so came on here after pestering B Milner to let me have the link. Stayed, again, through Boredom, and because my degree was going down the swanny anyway and this was more entertaining.

2. You seem to have a pretty set area of music you like, or so it seems, but what is your guilty pleasure on iPod/Mp3/Computer/CD?

My MP3 player is filled with Strung Out/Snapcase/BoySetsFire/Misfits/Rancid/NOFX etc

Amongst the punk is 'More than Words' by Extreme. I'll be dancing to that as the first dance at my wedding.

I did have Paramore's album on there for a while, which is quite embarrassing.

3. You're stuck on a desert Island, you can have any 3 things, living or inanimate, except something to get you off the island, you're stuck there for good. What are they and why?

MP3 player, solar powered MP3 charger, and if I have to I'd take the missus. Having said all that, I'd probably want to have at least one of my bass guitars there, so scrap the missus, I'll take my Ibanez instead.

4. On bullet, one board member, no retribution or jail, no memory of it either. Who is it?

I'm not going to put the real answer here, or ther'll be hell to pay from the teeny boppers, so KBEES. What a fuckwit.

5. What's your ideal job?

Dreamt of being a pilot: colour blind so couldn't.
Dreamt of playing Football: I'm shite
Dreamt of being in a band: Had the talent, lacked the motivation and social skills.
Now: Boringly, moving full time into software development (which I do a bit of now).
and

6. Why are you in the job you're in? Did you choose it or did it choose you?

Spent 3 years studying IT at uni, took the first job offered. Glad I did, I love my job at the moment, though support ain't where I wanna be forever. I actually got this job because my sister-in-law to be works here as a stock broker. Everyone in this place got a job through knowing someone.

7. You've won the £88million Euromillions Rollover, but you can't spend anything on yourself bar enough money to ensure you don't have to work again. What or who do you spend it on?

Martin House in Boston Spa would get a chunk of it. God knows really, I'm too tight with money to even imagine spending that much.

8. What was the most difficult decision you had to make as a Leeds fan? ( I thought I better get something in)

Whether to run after JR at Hillsbrough. Never seen someone run so fast

9. Give us 5 random facts about yourself that no-one (or not many people would know)

a ) I have popiteal artery entrapment in both legs. One operated on, the other left in agony.
b ) I was a brown belt at Judo (one grade under black)
c) I've had my nose broken twice, once at Judo, once when I got punched in Heaven & Hell (mate of my ex-missus' ex-boyfriend hit me then ran off. tosser)
d) I have anger management issues, my mum once took me to the police station after I was involved in yet another scrap due to me losing my rag. I now tend to just be silent and take things out on myself than outwardly project my thought.
e) As part of the above I am responsible for the sad demise of two trumpets, which dent a lot easier when kicked than I'd have thought. I was a great kid  I was kicked off the school wind band. Shame

10. RETURN OF THE BANJO!!! – give us any details, if it or anything similarly embarrassing has happened to you.

With me embarrassment is never far away, from going out in public with yesterdays undies still in my trouser leg ("Excuse me sonny..."), to crying (with frustration) while working at ASDA because my stupid ex girlfried had shagged yet another of my colleagues. You know who you are, bitch (theres that anger again).

There, I'm off t'pub.

Well done on sharing this one, I have a book called "RAGE" you'd be welcome to have it, though am sure you are more in control now.

ah, fuck it, You only live once I suppose.

I'd use my bullet on Laura, but would be delighted if it ricocheted off and hit Stubbsy too.

I'm actually a lot better now really, especially since I moved away from home. Spose its growing up really and having a better perspective on things.

Not on Lozzles!!!

Fair play on the anger though, once you accept it you can make those changes...not had an anger issue myself (though I have sooooo many other ones lol) but have seen it at first hand and its not nice.

I'll sell this book then, but if you ever develop prostate trouble let me know and i'll send you that one instead

Mugsey - October 9, 2007 10:28 AM (GMT)
only real men have anger issues anyway so don't fear it is not a bad thing

KenDoddsDadsDogsDead - October 11, 2007 09:15 AM (GMT)
Anger is a wasted emotion..... Great Q&A... I think Q4 should be a permanent fixture, failing that it maybe could be started as a thread....
