The Blunts seem to be getting a £30m payout from West Ham over the Tevez thang.
Looks like Blackwell will finally have a bundle of cash to spend... wonder if he'll take Gregan, Butler and Ricketts back?
There's a guy on SSN right now who's explaining that the only thing that WHUFC did wrong was to lie about the third party ownership of Tevez (and Masserano?) to push the deal through on transfer deadline day. If they had been honest then the deal would have been okay. Remember that West Ham have already been fined £5.5m over this already.
We all know that the full story never really comes out until much later but from that evidence it seems the hammers are being hard done by.
Oh well.

Not really, I think they were lucky to stay in the PL.
Libel laws being what they are I'm not going to put my neck out, but if I had been the Chairman of the FA, I might have been a bit wary of well connected former players and their influence.
Similar things happened (I believe) when an incumbent England Manager was alleged to have been involved in some shady dealings and the whole thing got swept under the carpet rather than rock the boat.

I read in one of the Sunday papers that Newcastle were going to put an offer in for Beckford come the January window.
