Title: How Many Opposition Players Get....

..... a reception like Darren Randolph got yesterday?

I cannot remember the last time an opposition player was to be seen shaking hands with fans in the Kop after a competitive fixture. He took the banter in excellent spirit and clearly had the game of his life as Hereford should have conceded four or five yesterday. He was the man of the match for me, and given his early career promise and the fact that Charlton have sent him on loan for a year, should we be considering signing him up?

Before everyone points out that you don't end up at the bottom of the table with a good keeper, have a look at their stats, they have let in 15 goals compared to our nine at this stage, Hereford's problem is their attack, they have only scored seven so far - only two of those away from home.

Discuss.

Just watched the highlights and it looked like we could have easily had a 5-0 win if they had a dodgy keeper.

He certainly looks like he is worth monitoring to see how he does over a whole season.

I was just discussing this with a mate (Oxford fan) this morning. I was saying that the Hereford keeper had one of those games that was worthy of an FA Cup Final. He had a truly spectacular game. I listened to the game on LUTV and it sounded as if we should of walked the game but their keeper kept the result in doubt right to the end.

Was thinking during the game that he looked solid, seemed to command his area, some good point blank saves and a couple of 1 on 1's just wondered though if it may have been a flash in the pan? As mentioned before worth monitoring prior to January.

Was he a pirate?

He got in the way of everything, even our goal came from a goal mouth scramble, and on another day we would have got the 4 or 5 goals that many people were putting money on.
My mate reckons the kop are going soft by being nice to opposition players now!!!

Macca was talking about him on Radio Leeds during the sports news this morning, if Charlton aren't especially fussed about him, he could be one for the future. As for those who wonder if it was a one off, his career record shows he has always been quite handy.

And as White Paul mentioned it being worthy of an FA Cup Final, I thought it was the sort of performance that could be compared to Jim bloody Montgomery the human octopus from 1973......
