Title: Pommy double glazed windows

Andy - July 10, 2005 12:24 PM (GMT)
Went to the "home improvement" thingie at the showgrounds today and came across a guy who installs real life double glazed windows (the real upvc thing....not those magnet type things that you stick on your frame.)
He's a Scot, named Paul McCabe, and has been here for 11 months.
I said I'd give him a plug.......

Aus Scot windows
Tel : 08 8322 0752
Mob : 0405 327 226

and he gets his kit from http://www.everglaze.com.au/

Wish we'd have gone to that one instead of the pool and spa one last week.
What a complete waste of time.

We went there too, yesterday, and were commenting that we couldn't see any double glazers - though we did see at least one at the Eco show a few weeks back.

So did you put your slip of paper in the draw with all the thousands of others to win a $40,000 frame for a 3-bed house. Now that would be a real liability if we actually won it....

You didn't miss much.......although I did enjoy wandering around the cooking show bit...lots of free tastings.....(little tiny blobs, but they soon add up!)

Yeah we didn't buy lunch - just tasted everything that was going. Salami straight after chocolate covered liquorice was a bit strange though...

Yes....entered all them kind of things,
Now the wife will be plagued with "well, you didn't win....but we can come round and give you a quote" phone calls for the next two months

I wonder how the upvc will hold up in the extreme summer heat we experience.

Apparently the stuff from 20 years ago was not so good, cracking etc, but it's improved!!??
