We have looked through FAQ but cant find the answer .......
We know we need to obtain a TFN but when are we able to apply for it? Do we have to be in Adelaide or can we do it prior to our arrival?
We thought we read that you get one when opening a bank account but not sure if we just made that up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :what?:

When you get the TFN through you advise the bank and they refund the amount they withhold for those without a TFN. Only when they get both if it's a joint account.
