can anyone help, when we were came over last year i didnt bring my uk childs car seat as i was told that they were illegal and werent up to scratch and someone on british expats put me onto a website that confirmed this but i cant rememeber what it was, does anyone know where i could find this info as a friend here wants to ship over a multi pram system with car seat for her new baby, thanks for any advise

We brought over our daughters car seat it has a kite mark the British standard code, and from what I have seen in some shops is much better. I have not heard that they are illegal here. Sorry I can't help with the website but I would bring out a British pram if your friends already brought it.
