Hiya,

So can anyone give me advice on this area. Looking at some houses around there on the net. Hoping to make a shortlist of areas to look for houses to buy from March.
Thanks

HI Cookie
You won't be able to post in any of the FAQ areas, including suburbs - it's a reference area, and you wouldn't get any replies there anyway so this is the place to be :cool shake:

Hi

Gulf View Heights is beautiful. Its on the top of a hill and most of the houses have a wonderful view of the North east and Parafield Airport. I would love to live up there. The new part is pretty pricey, ranging from 350,000 to 700,000 dollars depending on house type, lot size and view. My friend lives there at the top of the hill and its glorious.

The older part of Gulfview Heights was originally Para Hills and the suburb name was changed. You can pick up a property there thats 20-30 years old in good condition for anything between 250,000 - 300,000 if you want 3/4 beds.

The schools are good, Gulfview Heights Primary has a good reputation but I'm not sure which High School is the one for there, probably Para Hills, which again I've not heard any bad stuff about.

Golden Grove Shopping Village is close by and its a great place to get all your shopping requirements. There is also a smaller centre called Sunnybrook and if you head down to the Airport, there are hundreds of places there to get stuff, big Bunnings, rug shops, baby equipment.

I would definately recommend it.
