Don't know if anyone's used this before but it's been very helpful to me. It's a service provided in conjunction with Royal Mail and it list absolutely loads of companies, government bodies, universities, banks etc etc. You select those you want to notify of your move and then it either sends them an electronic message or, where the organisation has not set up to receive it like that it formats and prints a letter for you to sign and send.

You have to take a bit of trouble filling in your reference numbers etc and you will need to disable any pop up blocker whilst trying to "send".

You also then have a full record of who you've notified.
