It's what you need if your uk passport is lost/stolen, needs renewing, or you need the appropriate visa to leave Oz before you have acquired citizenship.

Unfortunately I need to get the kids uk passports renewed (they came in here on their Oz passports) and it's twice as expensive from here as from uk <_<

....and I've just hit a stumbling block. THe applications need to be countersigned by someone I have known for at least 2 years. Hmmm. No-one in this country!

By sheer luck my cousin is visiting this weekend, she'll have to do - don't know what we'd have done otherwise.
