G'day,
I was just doing come comparisons on car insurance as our renewal has just arrived and found this site
http://www.budgetdirect.com.au/My original insurer wanted over $700 per annum for comprehensive insurance and Budget Direct have come up with a cost of around the $330 mark so all in all a great saving. The term and conditions seem equal so I will advise when I receive the underwriting criteria if there are any loopholes but so far it looks very comparable.
Hope this may be of help to someone.
Jet :)

Thanks for the tip Steve, just checked online and they wanted $1001 per annum :68: perhaps they don't like to insure commercial vehicles :sigh:
Just curious is there something I don't know about Queensland based insurers. I welcome your input, insurance is a minefield, especially the fine print in the policies.
Thanks again,
Jet :)

So you have had 2 quotes, $700 and $1000, yet budget want $330!!!!!, look into the policy big time. Reason i say interstate is its a phone call all the time, been with aami for years and they have a office in the city, not sure about down south, and they have a big place at Holden Hill, all face to face. Went in to aami once with a front end smash, service was excellent. They might not do commercial rates.

Been with Budget direct for the past 2 years in Oz and also used them when i was back in the UK. Can't find anybody who gets close to them on price.
Policy coverage is as good as competitors.
Another example of why QLD is a good place to be.
