Title: KL Airport
ClareDavid - June 8, 2004 01:44 PM (GMT)
Hi
Well I have just about planned our trip out in July - thanks to all your advice - so one last favour.
We now have a 14 hour stop over at KL airport. I am presuming that the girls will be shattered and I understand that the airport is some distance from KL, I don't think that taking them sight seeing will be a good option, so I plan to book a hotel room. I have searched on the net for airport hotels but do not seem to be getting the correct information. Can anyone advise me of the best way of finding out the nearest hotel etc and whether rooms can be booked for specific periods rather than just overnight.
Thanks
Clare

Hi
I have booked a room for the day in a couple of weeks time.
You cahn book it by blocks of hours.
I arranged it when I bought my tickets through Airline Network.
Your travel agent should be able to arrange it.
It is called the Pan Pacific Int airport.

I have stayed at the Pan Pacific in KL airport... one of the best have ever stayed in.
5 star, very plush and has lovely outdoor pool complex.

Thanks, that's great info. I have looked at the website and imagine that the girls will love the outside swimming pool.

we paid 48 pounds for an overnight suite 3yrs ago. I am not sure about day rooms, but all floor levels have internet access too.
