Well we arrived in Adelaide on the 24/01 and stayed in Brighton Caravan Park for the first 5 nights. It was okay but we had our very own ANTS which liked to share our accommodation, and the odd lizard. Nothing too scary. Met a few adelaidebritters and had a couple of barbies and then moved down to Henley Beach where we had a rental. Kids started school last Monday and they seem to have settled well, but the education system is a bit of a shock and not very organised (in our school anyway). Not sure how long we will stay in this area, it just depends on jobs. Henley Beach is lovely and very central to everything although a little pricey!!! Still don't have any furniture but our landlord has been great and has provided everything that we need. We had to go and buy a laptop today because I couldn't bear not having access to the internet. Graeme has been to see a couple of people about jobs but nothing concrete yet. Still waiting......... Adelaide is lovely and the people in the neighbourhood have been very welcoming. We have found the driving very easy and bought a car within the first week although second hand cars are still quite pricey. Niamh & Jaxon have started swimming lessons, dancing and little athletics all in the first week, so that has kept them busy and they have made lots of new friends.

Still can't believe we have done it.... :bouncy:
