I've checked the FAQ section on suburbs and it doesnt mention Sellicks Beach.
Any advice?? Anyone know what its like, would appreciate any info.
Because we are not wealthy folks, we know that to get a decent house for tyhe money we can afford (with mortgage sadly...) we will have to live out the city by quite a way.

Hi Karen,

Sellicks is a nice spot on the southern most fringe of what you could call Adelaides sprawling metropolis. The area has a lot of holiday homes and B & B's.

It would be approximately an hours drive from the city center and is serviced by public transport, if you find work in the city you would have to consider the travelling time to and from each day.

Shopping wise there is a general store but no large supermarkets. The closest supermarket and mall to Sellicks would be at Aldinga a 5-10 minute drive north.
