Hi there
There are a few of us that live in Seaford. It is a nice quiet suburb with everything you need close by. The houses are a bit cheaper than say Woodcroft but thats because of the distance out of the city. The only negative thing I would say is that the houses are fast becoming built like those in England, very close together on smaller blocks but thats all of Adelaide not just Seaford. I've noticed they are building either side of the entrance of the southern expressway as well.
If you work in the southern suburbs then Seaford is a great suburb to live in being only 10 minutes from Lonsdale and from top to bottom of Expressway is about 20 minutes. If you work in the City then allow yourself an hours journey each way.
I can't say much about schools as I don't have kids but we live near to the Seaford High School and it looks pretty good. There's plenty for kids to do as well with a 5* skate park and a Recreation Centre with a gym. There's also a library and a shopping centre which is rapidly expanding to include a KMart and a Woolworths. We're not short of fast food outlets either with a KFC, Hungry Jacks and a MacDonalds on the main strip, there's also pizza, chinese and fish & chips in the same area. There's also a State Swim swimming centre and a pub. There's a lot more but I can't think of them at the moment.
Hope this helps a bit.
Michelle
