Can anyone explain what 'Torrens Title' means? Is it a good or bad thing for land to have?

Torrens Title basically means you own the land, and have to pay rates etc etc.
Maybe contrasted to Strata Title, which is usually groups of units, flats etc. where there is some common land which is owned by the group.
Torrens Title is the most common home ownership in SA and is a good thing to have, so there's nothing to worry about.
You could try googling it to get a more legal view, but it's what most home owners have if you own the property.
