Had lovely day! Fed kangaroos and koala. Saw horrible snakes and things - missed Emus and Tas Devils somehow! Loved the wombat and pelicans!

Wished the children we're with us!

I've got some pics but not sure how to include!

If you go to the main Adelaidebrits home page you'll find a section called "Members Area". There's a set of instructions on how to add images. ;)

We stopped off at Cleland last year - got 'harrassed' by a pair of overprotective ducks who wouldn't let us walk down the path as they must have had a nest further along.

We visited Cleland park on our recent trip in April. The kids really enjoyed feeding the Kangaroos and would have stayed there all day if we had let them !!

Did you manage to call in at he Mount Lofty Centre while you are there?
Whoahhhh - Stunning views.

Adelaide CBD looks so bizzar sat there in the middle. It's like a little piece of 3d sticking out of a jigsaw puzzle.
I like how they make a special point of showing where the Mitsubishi factory is too

I love Cleland Wildlife Park. I've been there more than 10 times. The staff know me now and let me in for free!

I've marked it on our map.

I agree Cleland is a fabulous spot, very entertaining and informative. A few years back I got involved with a volunteer program there so if any of you want to visit on a regular basis you can contact Frankie Nicholls on 8130 9008 as they are always on the look out for volunteers to work within the park.

we loved it! the drive up their is a bit hairy ... me and narrow mountain roads dont mix too well, but i survived! mount lofty was excellent ... a bit windy so dont go up their without a baseball cap to hold your hair down with!!
the kids adored the wildlife park ... the keepers were much more genuine than the ones we encountered at australia zoo up in qld ;) there was so much to see, an the place is HUUUUGE! we thought the map could have been a bit clearer, but it only added to the adventure of 'have we been in this bit yet?'

and a cheap day out too ... (compared to what it would have cost in something similar in the uk ...not that anyything in the uk could come close to comparison)
