We just got an email confirming our address for OAA and were wondering if anyone else had stopped in Surrey Downs.

Its in the North East, not far from Tea Tree Plaza.
Close to Golden Grove, Fairview Park, Modbury etc. 20 mins into city on the OBahn, approx 30-40 minutes to the coast (by car), 30 mins + to Barossa, 10 mins into hills.

As stated - Surrey Downs is a nice suburb. close to the Golden Grove Village, which has nice local shops, banks and lots of takeaways! and Tea Tree Plaza, which has larger stores and a cinema.
It is on a good bus route to the city via O'Bahn, which will take max of 25 mins.
In all I would definately be pleased with that area.

We are currently renting in Surrey Downs and are very happy with the area and the local school. Like others have said it is well situated - being close to shops etc., and also surrounded by other nice suburbs.

We set off on monday and arrive in Adelaide on friday so this will probably be the last time on AB for a while
