I don't actually live in the area but have holidayed there a number of times over the years. Nice enough country town, largest in the Riverland. A three hour drive from Adelaide.

My friend has lived in the Berri/Barmera area for about 6 years. Seems like a good community especially if you have kids as there seem to be committees for everything. There is a local paper for the Riverland will see if I can find it!
