G'day Kim,

Woodville North to Blackwood as a guestimate would take about half an hour travelling time outside of peak hour and perhaps about 45 minutes in busy times. Another point to remember is that Blackwood and Woodville are both located on train lines so you could commute using rail.

Woodville is an older area of Adelaide with some beautiful old stone homes on quite large blocks. There are also reasonable sized pockets of commercial and industrial areas surrounding. Have a look at the link below for more information.

Its quite an expensive suburb. My friend lives in Woodville South and a basic 3 bed sandstone villa is around $350,000 - $400,000 depending on how well its been looked after.

Personally I find it very busy, too much traffic but its popular for the Hospital. Nice lot sizes and the roads are well set out, lots of trees and greenery, but when I'm at home and I go outside I hear hardly any traffic noise. Outside her house, whatever time of day or night theres lots of noise.
