When we over in Australia back in 2003, we visited the whispering wall. Can't remember exactly where it is, just know its not far from the Barossa Valley. It was quite amazing as we've never experienced anything like that before.
Just wanted to know if anyone else has been and what did you think?? :sign61:
We went last year on our recci trip. It is amazing, quite spooky as well. Glen ran to the other side and as he got nearer you could hear these footsteps behind you getting louder and louder :D
Seem to remember its near Williamstown south of Tanunda? Also remember being struck by how many trees there were around the area and we saw our first wild emus there as well. So lots of happy memories of that visit.

Yeah, its one of the first touristy places I visited on the way to the Barossa Valley. Pretty cool.

We went last week and although it was a good experience it was rather a short one. After talking to each other from each end the kids soon got bored. If you look on the map it is marked as the Barossa resevoir and as you get closer there is a sign saying "Whispering Wall" which we drove straight past :o
There are other things to do in the area "Lavender farm" (very nice scones) "wineries"
etc etc........
