We have found a fabulous English sausage at Feast Fine Foods on Stall 15 (I think) at Adelaide Central Market.
It is called an English Pork Sausage, and it tastes like a Tesco Finest Pork Sausage.

Also their lamb, mint and rosemary sausage was good too.
I think they were $9.99 a kilo.

Vera.

I was going to mention that, you beat me to it!

But I understand what you mean..

So may I add to the recommendation: Oak Butchers in Stirling. Bronte (odd name) and the team there make near perfect english style pork sausages and they sell Kanmantoo bacon which is about as close to UK bacon as you'll find here.

We found the old english sausages(Slape and sons) at Foodland are the nearest ones to our taste. :D .Tried the woolies english pork ones the other day ........uurrrrggghhhh.

As for bacon...I havent thought it to bad until the last couple of times..........they were a bit rubbery and tasteless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need to go to the Butchers at Collins parade Hackham, that is where they actually make most of those british sausages that you see dotting around adelaide, and they can be as much as 50% cheaper than most places I have seen them in.m  :sign61:
