Your msg made me chuckle. We arrived last 12 June and on leaving UK I packed only summer or light clothing - no thick coats, fleeces, jumpers etc. We were so shocked at how cold it was. I even wore socks in bed at night! I had to go out and buy loads of clothing which really annoyed me.
I agree with wizzywozza and November was about the time it started warming up. My dad came over on 29 October for his first Oz visit to see us and he commented on how cold it was. Two days later I was worried about my little lad as he had gone for a school visit to Adelaide Zoo and it was torrential rain all day!
But early November the sun did come out and I managed to put my shorts on for the first time!!
Come on you SUMMER, I'd rather sweat to death than FREEZE to death!!!!!

I've only been here five months, but the guys at work(murray bridge) reckon september sees the start of the heat.
But according to my little chart september is similar to may, and november is like march, which can certainly be hot.
Thats all i know.

End of august ,start of september, you,ll notice sunnier days, start of spring{best time to be in sa] cool nights. By the end of november, start of december you will notice it getting warmer. By the end of febuary you will be longing for winter  and so it go,es on ........................mm

Last year I thought that it was taking a while for summer to arrive but god did it ever it seemed to go from a nice cool day to a bloody hot one ! So do beware when it's here you'll definately know it is....
Springs my favourite time of the year, pleasant enough for walks on the beach but not so hot that you can feel your skin burning after only 10 mins like in summer.

If September is like May, bring it on....when we got here at the beginning of May, it got to around 24C most days in the sun, anyone cold in that weather is probably cold blooded. Word on the street is Mr Mover has got it spot on
