Title: OAA - Glandore
Description: Some pics

Here are some photos which might be of use to anyone who gets this for their OAA.

Although 'clinical' and 'stark' in appearance, it was clean and provided a fantastic base to begin with. We paid $144 a week.

It's located between Cross Road and Anzac Highway in a cul de sac and was very quiet and safe. It's a 10 minute walk to the tram stop and less than a 10 minute drive into the city (off peak), with peak morning just over 15 mins (dependent on traffic lights that is!).

Here's a link to the pics

LOL that looks exactly like ours inside! Wonder who supplies the furniture?

Its photos like that, that confirm my choice not to use the OAA, after a couple of days flying and turning up to something that looks like a prison cell would make me want to come straight home again.

I suppose it OK for the money though.

Yes it does look a bit like a prison cell.......

However don't forget you are seeing it at its worst, no personal belongings, no bedding etc. Once we had been in a few days it actually became quite homely with the few personal possessions we had bought in the suitcases. We also bought a TV for the lounge & bedroom and some plants which helped tremendously with the homely feel.

I think it was a really good deal for the money, clean, quiet, safe and convenient for the city.

Thanks for the photos - its nice to see what they actually look like!!! Basic yes but I suppose for that price as opposed to $5-600 per week you can't complain!

Why dosn't everyone who uses Adbrits and the OAA post pictures of it and the address. Then after a while you would have a data base of all the OAA including piccies for all the newbies to look at..
