ADELAIDE'S NISSAN MOONLIGHT CINEMA is held at the Botanic gardens. Park at the back of the Zoo and follow the signs.
It's held outside on the ground and you can either sit on the ground, low beach chairs or rent beanbags for $6
You can buy food there but most people seemed to take their own picnic, drinks etc for before the show. It's a great experience, but wrap up warm.

p.s. well worth booking online, it works out cheaper and you can go straight in rather than queuing for tickets.

...and they have a produce market/boot fair there on Sundays.
Also, slight correction, it's Main North Road/Pt Wakefield Rd.

we saw Pirates of the Carribean at the moonlight, ( thanks Claire for the info on that) it was great, park right by the park, 2 min walk. Next time will take the bean bags. We didnt need sleeping bags as it was sat night. Very warm.
I dont know about watching a scary film there though in the trees. I have enough probs with scary films on DVD!!!

Hope you enjoyed Happy Feet more that we did, took 2 x 5year olds and an 8 year old last Saturday. Even though it is a G rating the 5 year olds were bored and very very scared!!
