Title: Editing signiture file

Tyke - January 7, 2007 10:15 PM (GMT)
Not sure where to put this so here goes ......sure the mods will sort an appropriate place out :-)

I'm trying edit my signature file.
I want to add a little more colour and add a website.

If I add colour and change size the instructions seem to be added in the file and no change is seen ( Colour=blue or something like that)

Do I paste in a link to the site or just type it in to make it "clickable"

Thanks to any kind souls who advise me :-)

For colour - you need to add or whatever colour at the beginning of the bit you're wanting to change - then at the end of it.

For a website - click on the http icon when you edit your signature and follow the prompts.

Tyke
If you want to make your website clickable it must include the http:// before the WWW.
So you can go to your web site and just copy whats in the address bar and paste it into your sig. like this http://www.auseelife.com.au/ if you want your link to read something else like this Tykes site but still go to that web site, copy whats in the address bar as before, then above where your sig is click on the http:// tab and paste in your copied web address, click ok, then in the next window that opens type in what you want it to say. OK

You seem to have sussed out the colour for your sig but if your having trouble.
you must highlight just the bits you want to change then click the colour you want.
Then repeat it, highlight the bits you want to change then click the size you want (you cant do it all in one go.
and you must have it hi lighted to change it.
Hope thats as clear as mud.

Sorry just thought id add... my instructions are for Internet explorer, they do not work for anyone using firefox.
so if your still having trouble with the size and colour Tyke change it while using I.E its much easier than firefox.

FF instructions welcomed cos I cant be arsed to type them :D

Type this - without the spaces.

[color = red]then whatever text you want[/ color]

Make sure you spell it the American way or it won't work. ;)
