Title: How do I find an old topic......
Description: I don't want to repeat old questions?

Liz - February 19, 2007 09:08 AM (GMT)
Hi everyone,
I'm aware that the search function doesn't work on the site, but I sometimes want to know something that i've seen on a thread, eg: at the moment i'm trying to find the thread on using a migration agent. So rather than bug you all with the same questions over and over or trollingl through the entire site, is there any way I can 'search'?

Unfortunately the only way you can search is to remember the original posters user name and then go to their profile and search through their previously posted topics manually.

Hope this helps.

Jet :)

yes.....unfortunately, we get what we pay for (costs us nothing)

might be worth checking the FAQ in case it got moved in there

Thank you both, I thought as much, but I didn't want to have to repeat the same old questions as I know people do get fed-up answering! :D I'll just keep trolling and if I don't find the answers i'll just have to bug you all again, so apologies in advance

There are so many agent threads it's difficult to know without a hint on content, but try these for a start:

Thread 1

Thread 2

Thread 3

Thread 4

Thread 5

Thread 6

Thread 7

Would you believe a photographic memory....

No? Alright then, I'd already done this as part of another trawl job and still had the details.
