Title: EUREKA!
Description: Real Sausages At Last

Received a flyer in the letter box a couple of days ago from The British Sausage Company. They're making Pork Sausages (among others) from a recipe by the company's founder, Mick Ferrero, an ex-pat and butcher. Anyway popped in to my local Woolworths today and treated myself to the best Sausage Sarnie I've had since I left the ould sod.
For nearly two years I've searched for a decent sausage and tried many including all those recommended here but The British Sausage Company's Pork Sausage is as close as it gets, in my humble opinion. I'm not related or connected in any way to the BSC or Woolworths, I just know how many of you miss the good old banger we all know and love.
I highly recommend the British Sausage Company's Pork Sausage available at your local Woolworths. (Yeah, I know it sounds like and ad but this is serious business!) It would be interesting to hear what you all think.
Enjoy!
Alan :)

I get proper English sausages at Foodland, we have tried the ones from Woolies
and there is no comparison, the ones from Foodland are much better and cheaper too

I saw them in Woolies last week, but didnt think they smelled very English (through the packaging?!) so didnt buy them.
Now kicking myself as have the leaflet which confirms they are made by British butcher. Of course Woolies in Mawson Lakes has been totally sold out this week!!!!
Will have to keep going with my delicious English Pork Sausages from the deli at Ingle Farm (made in the Barossa) until I get to taste the new ones.
