We are going to Adelaide via the STNI visa and have read about the meet and greet service provided by the SA Gov.
Has anyone used this service and did you use the accommodation from them for 12 weeks while you settled in. I'm not sure if we will or not as we will have the dog with us?

Can't help with what the accomodation is like as we are still stuck over here but when we met the people on the Sth Australia stand at the Esher exhibition I made a point of asking about the fact we had 2 dogs and a cat coming over. They said there was no problem at all with pets in the meet and greet places they just need to know in advance so they can try and give you one that is securely fenced etc.

If it were a problem for us my Dad has offered to look after him until we find somewhere more permanent.
We're just waiting for the Visa's now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Patience is not my strong point!
I have arranged for my agent to give me a call later to ask the question - Does he arrange things with SA or do you do it yourself???

I'm sure it was Rachel who stayed in the meet and greet at Cristies Beach. If I remember correctly I think Elaine also stayed there??? and HazelG is now staying there. I think they said before that you have to book it about 6-8 weeks before you want it. I know there is some info on it on the SA immigration webpage.

I'll have a look back over some of the older threads as I asked what was included etc .

why were you turned down for the 3 months accomodation,were they full?and didi they give you a reason why.
