Are they run the same as they are in the UK?

Would you expect to get charged the same extortionate rate?

Over here you can get charged a higher premium for pet insurance according to what post code area you live in. Has anybody had any dealings with this sort of thing over there?

Don't know about vets but car insurance is charged by postcode area!

Brought our Springer Spaniel out $1500 and has cost me a arm and a leg since, but worth every penny. Swallowed a stone xmas eve, operated on that night $600, bits and bobs here and there, $45 for a consultation etc etc etc. Just had a minor op and hey presto $500, mind you been with us 16 years do not regret one dollar.

Sounds like it's similar to here.

Mind you we learnt the hard way with our first dog and would always have them insured for vet fees now!!!
