Title: House price comparsion by suburbs

Howard - April 23, 2004 03:09 AM (GMT)
I've just added this in the links section, but I thought I would bring to everyones attention a very useful website provided by Land Services Group of the South Australian Government.

There is a nice clickable map of Adelaide and even if you have already bought a place it will give you an idea of what it is worth!!

It is updated quarterly giving the median house price for all suburbs based on sales in the last 3 months with a comparison of change over the last year. Do bear in mind that these figures can be skewed if only a few properties are sold in a particular suburb that quarter.

Happy house hunting B)

Thanks Howard excellent link :thumbs up: I was going to ask Tracey where she got the prices from on the suburb section so that saves me a question. ;)

I just had a look at the Onkaparinga area and looking at hte statistics McClaren Flat was the only area to go DOWN in value..i wonder why that is. Everywhere else seems to have lept up dramatically

Howard - April 23, 2004 08:42 AM (GMT)
As far as McLaren Flat is concerned it could be just that a few exepensive houses were sold in this quarter last year and cheaper houses were sold in the last quarter of this year.

I think as far as some land by the sea, flat at $500 I think you're 150 years too late. :P

I did get them from the pullout of the paper a couple of weeks back. I have kept it but now I can throw it out!!!

Thats a great link Howard, saves me putting them up each time someone asks.

HI

PP I`ll second that if he can find you a block for $500 I would LOOOOOOVe that, find me one too, I love the sea , Please let me win the lotto I keep my fingers crossed every week, you know what they say you have to be in it to win it . Hey guys (that is the ones that are here already ) have you had the leaflet yet about the lottery for The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Research Foundation theres a 1 in 20 chances of winning a prize, theres 2 houses one in Blackwood Park which we have seen, its very modern and open ,( fred and I would rattle around in it like two peas ) its really nice, the other house is at Mawson Lakes, not seen that one yet, but might take a look. theres other prizes too OK the price is $100 a ticket Im tempted but its a alottttttttttt of dollars , you can also take the money if you win, who is game to take the gamble, someone has to win, wouldn`t this solve everyones problems, I would surely love it, both estates are nice one North one South. Im still thinking about it , and lets face it you can always sell it if you don`t like it there
