Try this out,
Zone alarm---->
http://www.zonelabs.com/store/content/comp...reeDownload.jsp

This is nothing but a port based firewall. According to most Virus detection centers, trojans and hackers listen through ports, those ports can be blocked, free, with this fire wall. Accordingly. I suppose. Im still testing this one out, but after I found out I had a few ports open for direct access to my computer I took action and saught out a firewall.

So far, I give this program a 8/10.
The free ware could do more than it should, and leaves things desired.

Warning, do not download if you have a virus protection software installed and running. If you do, youll have to set up the two programs to intertwine.

:ar15firing: This guy will protect you!

If you dont want to spend the time downloading it and want direct directions on how to set it up, contact me through aim, and Ill give you the program, and Ill show you how to set it up.

I dont have any program that I know of running for virus protection, but Im sure theres something on here.

I'll try it and see what happens.

danger, danger dangermouse....

you should never be on the internet without virus protection. I think the statistic is something like 12 minutes for an unprotected computer to contract viruses on the web.

without protection, you're gonna end up with an unusable paperweight of a computer.

My internet provider has a firewall, but I dont have enough RAM ta get it.

4th hooked me up wit PC Safe, a malware/spyware/adware program remover. Is dat a virus protection program? Computer illiteracy goin on here. Hahahahahahahhaaa

I guess I beeter put dis Fire wall in and see if I already have somethin that needs ta be coordinated.

Thanks yo.

the malware/spyware/adware removers are separate from virus protection.

your virus programs are like norton (symantec) and the like
