I wanna start plopping contests all over AR.. But I need some ideas for what to do with RP contests? I just don't know!! Well, besides for an rp art contests.

Also thinking of rewards to give concerning people in the rps.

If anyone has any ideas, feel free to lend a hand.

You could have a backstory contest. People write their backstories and post them, or put a link to them or something. Then other people go a read them and then vote on who they think wrote the best story. You'd probably have to give people time to write and post their backstories before letting people vote on them, though. You know, not let people vote before all the entries are in.

I've been thinking of an art passalong game for a few weeks now. (I haven't posted about it cause I can't think of a name for it. But those forum games where you post for one person, then that person has to do another person, and so on, right?) It might not exactly be a contest, but I thought it might encourage some interest in the rp's that could help. So whoever starts it would draw or color or whatever a picture of someone else's character or a scene or something, then that person would have to do another one for someone else and have it continue. A trick about it I was thinking of is you'd have to choose someone who's willing and capable of continuing it, so it would inadvertantly arouse talk about the rp's also. Since they'd probably have to talk to people to find someone to do it for, or poke them to remind them that it's their turn. :P

Well, and for possible alternatives or to allow more people to be able to participate, maybe someone could find some interesting way to write something about a character also. I don't know how to expand that further than the character description that's already in their profile, but just a thought.

Perhaps a backstory contest. But I think it would be a better to have a 'need help building your character?" thread here for people to post incomplete profiles or profiles they want improved. Then have the members help them make a character that's more complete or improved than before. Gotta get more poeple into the rp before I do that though.

As for you Todd, that's a pretty spiffy idea. Not just art, but poetry too. or songs.. or.. general 'art'. as a vague whole. I'd be into that sorta thing. But I gotta see who else would be. ^^` Reiji is into that sorta thing, I know.. Aki is a meh, Lewi rules me all, I have no idea where Issue is (sides texas).
