Hey, turns out that Umi works as the owner here. XD

*walking inside she pulled up a chair and blew the dust gathering off the table. Eyeing the place she leaned back slightly*

*He followed her over to the table and sat down.*
So ye're buying the food, right? *giving a smile as the food from the kitchens made it to him and made him even more hungry.*

Yeah sure...*eyeing the fool she shook her head and eyed the door quietly*

Swinging the doors open, Zako stands there - his cloak catching with the air between the outside and inside. The smell of alcohal and food drove the pirate in. Of course, he was clearly pirate. Tattoos, eyepatch, scars, the pirate symbol on a pendant over his neck.

With sandles plotting against the wooden ground, the capt of the Zanfar stepped leasurely towards the bar and took a seat... Raising his hand and ordering some "Ale, please..."

*Grinned and started ordering several plates of food. The waitress then brought the food by and Kaitou started scarfing it down very quickly. Hardly taking notice of the person who just walked in.*

*eyeing the noisy stranger, she tore her eyes away and focused her attention away from both the stranger and the boyt* Men...*she grumbled and smirked to herself*

Umi stood behind the counter and talked to on of her waitresses, speaking in low tones as she tucked her hair behind her ear. It fell in impaitient stands over her face anyway. She looked at the three and grinned a bit, leaning over to the waitress she murmured softly in her ear.

"Take 'em for what they're worth."

The pert waitress smirked and made her way out as Umi leaned back, looking satisfied.

Zako smiled to the npc waitress, who delivered a hugeassed mug of the alcohalically pleasurably ale to his bar. He took it and took a good large gulp - breathing out in extasty.

"Good stuff." the pirate capt muttered before getting ready to chug down the rest of the mug. the waitress delivering 2 more after he was done, causing the man to give his charming ear-to-ear smile. "Thanks!"

*still quickly eating his food. Mummbles with a bunch of food in his mouth* Mmm 'fis is 'ood. *continues eating and looks over to the loud man who was chugging down ale.*
~Hmm... he looks like he might have money... heh heh.~

*raised an eyebrow at him and shook her head* Just eat already....*eyeing the waitress and the woman behind the counter she could already feel something coming* what am I getting stuck in.....

Umi grinned as the pert bar maid over charged the man for his ale and she played with a dagger, short strands of clue hair falling massily around her face, which looked at best mainpulative and at worst dangerous. She would be out of here soon... soon...

Give or take a while of getting stooled off his ass - and buying drinks for his crew when they aimlessly enter the bar one after another - before he finally gets the bill

Eye widens and his large black is pulled over his eye. Went greatly serious for a moment, peering at the bill as if it was something he had to give a resolution to.. or... The End Of EastBlue! =O

*He finished eating, everything was gone on all of the plates.* Very good.
*He eyed the man again. It was a nice coat he was wearing, one that would probably fit very well. He thought about stealling it and whatever gold might be in the pockets.*
~wait untill he's too drunk to move, that will give me the chance to do it without being caught.~

*sighing she leaned forward and cleared her throat* I kmow you have not forgotten that I have no money with me...*following his gaze toward the strange man she grinned* but Im sure you can find some elsewhere....good luck to you...

Umi smirked at the look on the man's face when he got the bill. It was too sweet to cheat out a pirate. It made her feel as though she were getting a taste of revenge for the injustice done to her.

The barmaid grinned down at the man, her dress showing her ample bosom all to well...

"Pay up Cap'n! E'vry one pays th' due!"

Now the capt wasn't a math teacher.. but this just didn't seem right.. He glanced wearily towards all the mugs laying around on the bar.. then towards his crewmates... Counted them...

Slowly, the man peered up at the menu beyond the bar and frowned... Raising a hand, "Oi.. Crip.." one of hte pirates at another table looked up after a heady laugh and paced hand, a hand sluggishly in pocket. Zako showed him the piece of paper with a price. Crip cleaned off his alesoaked hand on his shirt and took the paper - suddenly looking his happy posture.

all pirates of the Zanfar in the bar go quiet.

Crip mutters, "this is 30 Belli more than what it should be.." giving the note back to Zako.. Zako, of course, is giving a cold look to to the barmaid...

Standing - mutually drunk still, though hiding it well in his voice - the capt took out a handful of Belli and had Crip count it for him before it put it on the bar.. Zako's placid grin returned.. "I'm paying exactly what I owe... no tips or donations..." of course, he took out the extra stuff put on the bill.

*He whispers to the woman* I don't know, He seems to be paying for enough things himself. And has a whole crew with him...

This is true...*eyeing the bar maid and the grumbling crew she motioned towards the door and nodded* perhaps we can get away with a free meal...

The barmaid stuck out her chin defiantly, and she crossed her arms over her heaving chest.

"Y'll pay what ye owe!"

Umi, seeing the trouble walked out from behind the bar. She placed a hand on the bar maid's shoulder and sent her off to collect her fee from the other customers.

Umi then regarded the captain coolly, her blue eyes driving into him like icy daggers, her stance was relaxed though and her hands still absently played with her dagger. She gave the smallest shake of her head, messy strands of light blue falling into her eyes.

"What seems to be the problem"

She spoke with an educated drawl of a woman of class, but she looked as though she had spent her life roughing it.

Zako regarded Umi like a drunken man. Well, a drunken man under control. He stayed as calm and passive as he could and took no hardship to nearly being ripped over 30 belli. His kind ale-ridden voice replied to her question, "your barmaid needs to learn how to count. A 30 Belli tip, as her bill implied, is a good way to loose a customer." he waved his fingers at one of the Umi's. "Less I'm mistaken and the price on alcohal tripled while I was here.."

*Seeing the bar maid coming towards them to collect the bill.*
Well, I think ye can find a way to pay the bill here. *He quickly got up and ran for the door.*

BASTARD!!!!! *lunging for him she wrapped her hands around his leg*

The bar maid looked at them in confusion. Then she moved to the door and bloacked it from either of them escaping, glaring down at them, daring them to try and get past her.

Umi looked up at the man, knowing full well he was in control. She wasn't worried much about him though. He just needed the right persuasion, and, if she was good at anything at all, it was just that.

She grinned a dangerous grin, her blue eyes looking very amused, despite the smattering of hair blocking them as she used her dagger to clean the grime from beneath her nails.

"Well Captain, it's like this y'see. My bar maid worked mighty hard to deliver all them drinks to yer men, and she deserves a ice tip savvy? Well can always negotiate the amount of said tip, but she still better get it if y' catch my drift."

Talking their slang came all too easily to her lips, as though it were her milk tongue. It sounded more natural than her earlier drawl.

Zako let this thought of tippage swim in his mind along with all the alcohal and finally, unsteadily getting up, reached into pocket and produced some more belli. "Fine... 2 belli as a tip. .not 30 though.."

Actually, it was nearly 3 belli he put on the counter.. But I'm sure Umi's not going to stop him

With a hand, Zako waved for his men to leave... and, they probably will - followed by the pirate capt - if the barmaid gets out of the way.

*He fell to the ground as the woman wrapped her arms around his legs. He kicked back, trying to get free and get out of there. The bar maid standing in his way he didn't see as a problem, he figured she could be taken down easily enough.*
Let go ye stupid bitch!

*pulling out her dagger she sliced the back of his legs in an upward gash. Jumping back, she stood and held her dagger still ready as she eyed the bar maid* Move out of the way maid...I drank and ate nothing from here I owe you no pay...but I cant speak for everyone in here...*she glanced down at the boy*

The barmaid looks at the dagger and nods, knowing that Umi is too busy to defend her, and she didn't see the girl take anything anyway. She moved aside to let her go then moved back, looking down at the boy and knowing that Umi wasn't done yet.

Indeed Umi wasn't done yet. She looked down at the three billi and felt her temper boil. She snatched up all the coins and put them in her purse bfore her could change his mind. Then she confronted him.

"Y' always this stingy with yer money? Should I tell the brothel down the street what to think of the payment from you and yer men?"

*stepping pass the bar maid she glared down at the boy and shook her head before she left the tavern*

The capt looked Umi up and down... Knowing he already paid what he owed and 3 extra belli as a tip.. Crap, what a stingy woman..

A few of the other pirates were confronting the barmaid going.. "come on, we don't want to hurt you or anything, let us through" though one did make a comment about kidnapping her and taking her back to the ship with them =P

Zako gave Umi a grin that a pirate would.. "brothel? Pleae, me an my men have dignity... We raid and pillage. There's no need to go there." With that he let out a laugh.

By then the pirate - after counting to three - picked up the Barmaid and started to walk out. Zako follow behind them. Before he leaves, the man absently tosses a few more coins to the ground. And, well, the barmaid it put back infront of the door.

The pirates have left the building.

*He cringed a little The cuts weren't that deep in his calfs and he had had much worse than that, but still, it hurt. He glared up at the woman as she left, then at the bar maid.*
~I need to get out of this some how...~
*His hand started reaching for one of his pistols.*

Umi quickly snatched up the coins, knowing exactly how important a pirate's reputation was at a brothel. They were men after all. She then drew the pistol holstered at her hip and aimed it at the would be theif.

"i don't know who y'think y'are young man, but here we expect payment for our food and services, which you took."

*Hand stopped moving towards his pistol* Sorry to disappoint ye, but I dun't have any money, so ye'll just have to get it from someone else.

"Ah, so we have ourselves a little theif..."

She slipped back in to her educated drawl and levelled her pistol at him.

"I;m sure the magistrate would have use of you... Maybe a little reward is up for your swinging carcass..."

She looked down at him, assessing him quickly as her messy hair shadowed her eyes more. He was older than she was, but seemed scawny. He looked quick though.. Maybe she could find use for him.

I'm not a thief. Not usually. I got hit by a storm on me way here and lost every thing on me ship. Ye'll forgive a poor seaman like meself for just wanting to get something to fill his belly after such a tragedy, won't ye?

"Your too skinny to have just lost your ship on the way here boy. I'm no fool. You're a theif and liar and you don' seem to be good at the either.... I shoudl trn you in to put you out of your misery."

Or force him to steal for me. More money means I can get out of this hell faster.

She smirked and brushed her hair from her eye impaitiently with her free hand.

Ye're calling me a liar?! So what if I be skinny, I've been that way for a long time. *Looking hurt by the comment more than anything.* I'm sure ye could spare that one little meal to this poor soul. *though it was actually a rather large meal.*

"Yes I'm calling you a liar."

She cocked the pistol and gestured upward with it. She wanted to get a look at this man. See if he was worth her idea. She looked over at the bar maid and gave a quick nod. The bar maid grinned and pulled him up to his feet by is arm. She then took his pistols from him, tossing them on a nearby table. Umi grinned a the change of events and tossed her hair back, blue eyes smirking at him.

"So What are you going to do now?"

~fuck, this is not going well...~
I...well...ye wouldn't really turn me in, would ye? *Looking at her a little nervously.*

"That all depends on you..."

She pulls out a chair and turns it aroud, straddling it and leaning against the back. She keeps a good aim on him though, her blue eyes glittering with gleeful malice.

"If I offer you work with out questions.... Would you take it? No matter what the work may be?"
