Description: Want something to watch? Here ya go!

Changing this dramatically around. Keep your hat on. I'll keep the original stuff on top cause it lays out everything. And I'll put the anime of the month at the bottom of this post.
I pick an anime series or a list of episodes (none of which will go over 27 eps) for you guys to marathon and watch for 4 weeks. We all watch it, or even read the manga, and in the end we write some reviews of the anime, talk about it, overall have a fun time. ^^` keep in mind that you don't have to watch all the eps to have a good time. But participation would be good for your distant future =P
The monthly marathons start the day I post it.
But God, how do I get the anime?
There are many ways to aquire anime and manga without going bankerupt. Here are some:

Ways to get anime and manga
1. www.mediamax.com. I think it's like 7 bucks a month for 5 gig (I will send you the files for the anime or manga if you PM or IM me and request them).
2. Bit Torrent. Dl fansubs off people.
3. Aim/msn. I'm sure if you don't have it a friend will.. And I'm sure people can send you a few eps over aim or msn in a month. Sharing makes the world go round.
4. Rental stores. There are places that rent anime out there, albeit I don't know how many. If there's one near your house, There ya go B) There are also manga rental websites out there as well.
5. Simply borrow it. If you don't already have it IRL on dvd or tape, a friend you know might. Or maybe a friend you know may have it burned on cd and mailed to you |
Of course, that's just some ways, I'm sure there are more.
So to wrap this explaination up: I state a given anime title. It's your job to go find the anime or manga for it and throw a marathon. Afterwards, post away! XD

For those who have to rent (my fiance owns all of Slayers, but we're apart due to me being in the military), there is Netflix. They don't have every anime title out there, but they do carry most of the popular anime titles. Unfortunately, Netflix is about $28 a month (S&H is included). I know Blockbuster has started renting DVDs now too, but I don't know how much they cost.
Oh, and if you're really cheap... just try Netflix for free for 2 weeks.. then cancel your account.. just type in the code "Friend60" ^_^

Well... if say.... someone who lived in the Seattle area *coughLDcough* wanted to borrow the first season.... he might be allowed to. >_>

Since I never rewatched this, and it's been a while since I have watched it, I feel I should post here. I liked the series. It was funny and never really took itself seriously. Sure it got serious toward the end, but I never really took it seriously. Lina and Goury are hilarious together. Zelgadis is such a cool guy.

I rewatched it. That was a while ago though. The series is still just as funny as it was the first time I watched it. Lina rocks... and Amelia is still annoying in the first series. Well, last night I watched Slayers Premium (dubbed) with commentary with the voice actors of Lina Inverse, and Zelgadis. That was fun to watch. My favorite spell is still the Dragon Slave though. I'd love to be able to cast that. ^_^
