Not sure how many people play this game here, but I know I do. I haven't been palying this game for very long. I played a bit during 1.4 and a little more in 1.5, but now that 1.6 is out, I play it a lot. So who else plays this magnificent game? Anyone? Anyone?

I've also been playing since 1.4 came out, and it is indeed one awesome online game. I love how it requires full concentration on not only your reflexes, but your senses. I find myself relying ALOT of my sense of hearing in this game, always keeping ears open for the sound of gun fire and footsteps. Best thing this game delivers though is the sense of accomplishment. When you burst into a room after throwing a flasbang, unloading your m4 onto a bunch of T's, finishing some off with a pistol if any survived, and disarm a bomb seconds before it goes off scoring victory for your team.....its just great.

Only downside CS has is the amount of hackers that are on it in the public servers.....then again, thats what the Cheating Death program is for. I also haven't played 1.6 in quite awhile....I've been playing the CS: Source version. Source is one huge improvement in every aspect of the game.

So the moral of the story is, buy Half Life 2 because its the best single player FPS right now, and then play Counter Strike: Source because its also a awesome game! Any CS fan will love CS:S..

Yeah, I picked up source...twice...I don't wanna talk about it. Anyway, such a beautiful game! Cheating is an issue, but as long as you go to some of the better public servers (I find that clan servers and college servers are the best) cheating isn't a problem. A great perk of the game is the way people can die. I love it! Here's a screenshot of a guy that got pawned by a pump action.
