Have you heard? It's gonna rock! I don't know much about this yet, cuz not much has been released. Apparently, someone is trying to corrupt children all around the world. It somehow has to do with Sephiroth, and Cloud has to fix it. I'm guessing that some of the Sephiroth clones woke up and are now trying to destroy the world. But since they haven't really told anyone about what's happening, no one really knows.
The whole cast from the game are back in a new epic adventure. Go to
the Advent Children webpage to see all three trailers. I think trailer 2 is the only english one, but trailer 3 has about 3 seconds of Tifa's fight scene (GOD YES!), which is all you get (GOD NO!) for now. :angry:

I hope this movie rocks!! I'd really hate to see it end up like the other Final Fantasy movie. Other than Gaia, I saw no purpose for it to have even carried the name Final Fantasy. You didn't have the classes, you didn't have the magic, you didn't really have the monsters. It was shameful!
Go sequel to FF VII!!!! I pray thee don't suck!

Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within was a great movie! It's what I would hope all FF games would be like. Except FF12 because it has multiple endings. Games like FF10 should have been a movie. Plain and simple. Yeah, they were fun, but there's no real role playing about it. It's an interactive movie is all.
Spirits Within didn't really have classes, but if you to convert any game into a movie, they wouldn't have classes either. At least, they wouldn't if the movie were to take itself seriously. As for magic, I can't say much. They didn't have magic. They did have super-natural beings, though. But it was definately a sci-fi movie. It was just made by the FF team, so they put the name on.

whoa.. I just watched one of hte trailors and it just ruled. Seriously looked like there were parts from the original videogame in there - but as I heard it's 2 years after the game.
Either way, hope it comes out soon, I'm wetting my omnipotent pants in wait!

That version of One Winged Angel is from the FF7:Reunion album. I might have it around here somewhere... >.>

Well, Uematsu DID say he was making the AC soundtrack with a more rock sound. Interesting..

I'm glad that Square-Enix is gonna put it out on DVD as well... yall know it was originaly planned to be a UMD only release, right? That means that it would have been viewable on PSPs only! Hahaha.. glad they didn't do somethign dumb like that... I mean, I love my PSP and all, but watching something on my TV is better. Besides, with my 1 Gig mem stick, i can shrink the DVD and watch it on my PSP anyway. zoink!~
