So I just finished Phantom Brave a little while ago. Im still playing it though, cause like Disgaea, theres a LOT more to the game after it's been beaten, though not nearly as much as with Disgaea. Over all, Id say the game was pretty good. Good plot, good voice acting / talent (they've got Spike / Roger Smith as one of the main antagonists). The game mechanics were pretty good as far as battle goes, and by fare the most unique battle system of any Tactics based, non PC game. Unfortionatly, the game can drag on, and near the middle of the game, the battle-to-plot ratio gets a little unbalanced... However, the end of the game did not dissapoint, was action packed, and got me a little choked up (yes, I'll admit it, I got a little misty). The variety and extent to which you are able to customize your party is VAST, even more so than even Disgaea, FFT, FFT Advanced, exc.
Id say, over all, the game was definatly one I would suggest to anyone who likes a good game, and doesnt mind putting in a few dozen hours. A 7 out of 10.
