Title: Growlanser Generations

I'm not done playing the second part yet, so this is no review. Just wanted to tell everyone how cool the game is.

Alright, think oldschool rpg around the time of FF7.. The fighitng is between FFT style and Arc the Lad (that is, your set of charries moves strategically and the bad guys move at the same time. 8 main charries in the first game. No 'squares'.

Pictures are kinda like Valkyrie Profile, and the charrie sprites are just about the same, but with the same size as FFT.

#2 breaks away from FFT like and moves more to generic rpg (run around on map, go into towns, talk to people, make scenes). Still rules in my opinion.

The weaponry, gems, and fighing techniques are pretty unique. The characters Rule, and I Absolutely loved the plot of #1.

Oh yeah, before I forget.. there are 2 games in one package.

There are also two versions of the package. Growlanser Regular, and Growlanser Deluxe. In teh deluxe yo get a buncha extra junk. Like little booklet, strat guide, fuzzy dice, I don't know. Lots of extras. I got the normal one because there's a 30 dollar price difference in the two versions. And Normal was about 50 bucks when I got it.

Anyway, I recommend this to people who like strategy.sorta stuff. The first game is pretty short but supposedly has 3 endings. =D the fun never ends!

So yeah.. there ya go.

I remember hearing about it coming out and thinking "Cool, I think I'll get that". Yet where I usually go to get my games and stuff I didn't see it. So yeah, I'd have had it by now if I can find a place that carries it around here.

I plan on going for the deluxe version (even though I still have to pay for a PSP), 'cause I'm all for the extra goodies. n_n

I recommend going to GameStop/Funcoland. I KNOW all of them seem to carry a copy of it.

I think the game is a tad hard to find because they only released so many copies.. A good way to get it is to talk to the cashier. ;) cause sometimes games hide well
