I've called you all here to ask something...

See, I've been planning to temporarily zip up the FMARP and make a new rp. Something different, something everyone will want to join (even the mzdmers that come here). So my question is *Unfolds hands and shrugs shoulders harmlessly* What do you guys want? What sort of RP settings, types of characters, setup, etc do you people want to rp in?

*this is when God starts to count off stuff* See, we've already done Vampires/dark things of the night, An rp in Detroit that had everything in it, Pirates, Samurai, Alchemy sorta stuff. I want to see something New.

And you don't have to single out anything. Feel free to go out of the way and exaggerate ideas. Instead of just telling me, "I want fantasy with dragons" or "I want futurisitc stuff with robots" You can combine that. "I think a combo of cyborg parts and dragons in a medi-evil world" Stuff like that. Or It can just be simple. Since Simplicity spawns a whole mishmash of ideas, plots, etc.

But don't get all insulted if I don't choose your idea exactly. Keep in mind that I'm the jerkoff that's taking care of this place. When I make the rp I want many people to use it, not just one or two of you.

What else.. Oh yeah *reclasps hands* This new rp will have barely any rules compaired to the other few. It wont Lack rules, but I don't want to keep mzdmers from going, "Only Human? That Blows!" and stuff.

Anyway, let the floor open for ideas.

Anyway, when it comes to rping, I'm pretty easy. Used to do the napping cat thing. Got a little bored with my characters, and they stopped letting people make new accounts for a while. I've done a couple other rp forum things. Even done a live journal rp. They were fun while they lasted.

I could do a nice, traditional, pulp fantasy setting. You know, magic, dragons, hotties in battle armor. The works. Could also do a fun sci-fi adventure. Droids, lasers, hotties in battle armor. heh, I kid, I kid.

Pretty much, I'm up for anything you can dish out. I prefer things a little more serious. Maybe a little intrigue. Slightly darker than your average adventure anime, but not too dark. Something fun that I can get into.

Hotties in battle armor. Thats my vote.

Fine, fine. I personally am not really into the whole sci-fi thing, but I've been watching a lot of Outlaw Star recently, and I think something along those lines (not an Outlaw Star RP mind you, just borrowing a few aspects of it. Like the ships. And an entire race of catgirls.) Seriously though, I dunno. I'm up for most anything, just as long as its not a =insert specific anime title here= RP. Something orriginal. I'm feelin' something in which I can play a Samuri with robotic implants. Maybe throw in some deamons (typical bad-guy deamons, none of this tragic villian stuff. 's been done to death in movies and all that. back to basics, ya know?) And maybe some evil Angels. Not like Eva, but with traditional wings and such? Not nessisarily fallen angels. They can be, like, just evil. I dunno. Im getting a brain fart. I'll post more when I think of more..... But it sounds like a good idea. An RP for the people by the people, and because Kelly said so!

Btw, the rps that are =anime title put here= aren't actually about the anime.. They're just taken in the general setting.. Like the rkrp is NOTHING like Kenshin if you put your mind to it.

Personally I'm fine with just being in the rkrp, but for me the problem isn't the rp itself. Its everybody's schedules keeping everyone away from the rp.

A futuristic (but not too futuristic) rp would be interesting. Kinda like the Matrix universe, only more focused on psyonics. GW would remember the Wire Breach RP back on AH. It was a cool setting cept very few people signed up and actually rped. In fact I wanted to get my character over to where GW's character was but couldn't find a way to get there legitamately.

Truthfully, I'm rather easy going about what settings I like. Although, I do have a lot more fun when the character(s) are a bit screwed in the head, or have some sort of character flaw that keeps them from powergaming (ie DeadLands; I had a worthless character who was a colorblind, absent-minded, and scared of the dark chemist. That was fun!). I think the only setting I haven't played in yet is futuristic, so I'm willing to give that a shot.


Out of curiosity... Who was your character in MZDM??

I don't have any preferences for the time setting of the rp, or the genre really, but I've had a huge fascination with wastelands of late. Nearly all my little short story ideas that I never finish recently have had to do with deserts, or poisonous marshes, or planets where aether storms tear apart the very life forces of the unsheltered. My request/idea is to have an rp with a less than ideal environ, just hopefully not a cold one, I hate the cold.

I'm with the person above me, some various environments would be nice (cold included) as it presents certain problems characters can face; destroyed homes, lack of food, low visibility, etc. Also, since you've already told me some of it; why don't you make the magic stuff fairly specific to elements? Maybe one can only be skilled in one, or skilled in one and barely able to use another; something like that maybe. I dunno. I'm just throwing out ideas.

What about one where morals dicate what happen, and what you believe in is your actual strength? Kinda let loose and get deep into characters.

I still think we need two things. Organized npc's and influences coming from outside the specified rp area.

My only current problem with the new rp is what I'm going to name it. Any ideas? Something cool that's 2 words. Or two words put together into one Uber cool word.

How about Ubercool? I mean, it's got the Uber AND the cool. Twice as great, ne? Heh, I jest.

But it's be nice if we had some sort of context for which to base the name on. What's the setting like? What's the situation it's in?

it'll be a fantasy setting of anthros... With an introduced alien variety of cyborg parts, machines, etc. That's all I can really say for now.. I guess I'll make the outline for the rp tonight on the forum and have you guys figure out a name later.

Well, I like the japanese title. But KKRP sounds Uber selfish to me. Cool title, though.

The other alternative is The New RP. or TNRP. ... .. Of DOOM.

Only thing that comes to mind right now is Koonago but for reasons that are fairly obveous God would not aprove of such a perverted RP.

Still I'll risk wrath of god to detail my consept of a Koonago RP.
