Thoughtless gifts,
Unwalked miles,
Pondering 'if's.

Mourn loves lost,
Wonder what could have been,
Your heart exhaust,
Cold even to kin.

Look to the past,
Dread what might be,
Each breath a rasp,
View nothing with glee.

Nothing is sacred,
You depraved beast,
"Changes" you said,
Yet nothing has ceased.

Farther you fall,
Into black despair,

One day you'll die,
An inevitable fate,
A terminal sigh,
