Title: Chrono Trigger Troubles

ForsakenRogue - May 4, 2005 09:51 PM (GMT)
I'm really having trouble at a part I got past on the first try nearly a decade ago <_< I'm at the part where I have to sprint behind the tree to avoid the wind, but even when I get to it I must be just a little bit to the side or a little bit too far back because it blows me off the stupid mountain anyway. Should I run until I'm near the tree then just walk so I can make sure I'm directly behind it? Should I just keep doing what I've been doing over and over and continuously sprint only to be blown off? Is there some other strategy I can try? I really need some input over here, it's driving me crazy

graaah.. lavos buggers....

I forgot exactly how I did it... I think you're supposed to run up directly behind the tree and stop running til the wind cools down.

Did you talk to Balthazar yet? He gives you that item that makes the first tree for you when you enter the area.

You do need to be directly behind the tree. So go hug a tree. :-P

yeah I did, the tree's there but I think I'm just not aligning chrono correctly (sounds like I'm fiddling with a clock) I guess I'll just keep at it for the next few hours, hopefully I don't go to far to the right like I've been doing <_<

You said aligning Chrono correctly? I don't think you're on the right mountain that you need to progress through the story. You only need to go up Death Mountain in the future when Chrono can't be in your party if I'm not mistaken. That might be your problem.

blarg, you know what I meant :ph43r: still no luck, but there's always tommorow morning.
