Yeah.. just marathon played througn Full Metal Alchemist: Broken Angel... took about 15 hours. it was .. OK. I don't see myself ever playing through it again. It was faithful enough to the series in the say that OVAs are faithful to anime series... same characters, no real attachment to the main plot of the series.
The sound was acceptable.
The graphics were pretty nice. Looks liek the game runs off of the same engine as the .hack games.
There is about 30 minutes of animation included throughout the game.
Gameplay was probably the highlight. Controls were smooth and the ability to transmute stuff was cool.
If the next FMA game doesn't make some improvement, I won't be playing it.
I just got this game about a week ago. I must say it's one of the better anime themed games i've ever played. It's kinda sad because it could be much better. I'm not sure about gameplay, since it's seems really solid, but graphics arn't that hot. But then again, I'd rather have bad graphics than bad gameplay.
I found the game kinda easy, though I haven't beat it yet, mainly because of the Alchemy. Man it's vary fresh and fun for the type of game it is. Capcom should take note and make some changes to Devil May Cry, IMO that series failed after part one. DMC one was the only good one so far, 3 is OK.
I'm not sure if part two and three ever made it state side, but I will keep an eye out for them both.
