Title: RPG Maker 2000/2003

Anyone else ever try making an RPG with either of these programs?
I tried and basicly failed every attempt because I always came to the same part of the creative process and stoped. I don't know anything about coding most things! D:>
I tried to make an RKRP one once staring a all new character with guest and playable appearences by all the RKRP cast.

I even tried to make a forgotten realms rpg but only made an awesome world map before it got deleted due to some crap my sister got on my computer.

Seems my skills are characters, dialog and a bit of story. D:>

SO anywyas lets hear everyones experience with these programs.

I'm planning on making a game based on the Comic strip EXACTLY a long way down the line. For now I've only made a weak game on the PS2 that I've long since scrapped due to needed memory card usage.

I've started using RPG Maker XP, but I have used both 2k and 2k3 before, back when I was making a game with people from AH in it. (Very, VERY long time ago. I think a few people here might remember that.)

I switched to XP because it's actually a lot easier to work with than the previous versions. Now I just need to find a program to let me design my own characters in the XP style. Editing sprites pixel by pixel in PSP (Or any program) is a bitch.

Yeah I remember that. So you stopped making that? How much do you have? I would like to check it out. :3

I didn't really get much done on it. Though if I can find a lot of the stuff that I had come up with for the game, I may redo it using XP. It probably would've gotten further, but I had been having computer troubles and would lose parts of it I had worked on.

Of course, coming up with a story for the game probably would've helped me quite a bit too. -sweatdrops-

I prefer Gamemaker, because RPG Maker using scripts that overcomplicate the action. Gamemaker requires no scripts, and is easier to use with more features.
