These are the streets of Sector04. Well... Not really Streets, but a path of scummy dirt around the area that you can walk through at your leisure.

Around the sector is a load of broken buildings. Like Civilization after an apocolypse. There were once Many buildings, even expanding slightly. But something major happened in Midgar's past that destroyed them all. People know it has something to do with monsters. The older Slumerians (if they're still around) can tell you it was shinra that came down in some extermination attempt and fried everything. Does everyone else know this? Probably not, they'll blame it on the monsters.

Speaking of monsters, this place is a monster breeding Pit. Expect them.
