Yup, definately street worthy. Aside from the area around the Chocobo pits and a few shady corners, most streets are pavement-quality. There are many random cars driving back and forth over the area from upper Midgar (how they got down here is of your own guess). Something tells me that it isn't legal to do half the things up there as people are doing here.

Alyssia looked around the area and sighed. She hadn't even been there five minutes and two guys had already come up and started hitting on her. Of course, she hit back, quite literally. '...Should've taken the train to Sector 03 and just skipped this damn place...' She shook her head and continued walking. The next guy that walked up and started hitting on her received her machine gun barrel in his face, which caused him to turn and run. Aly giggled as he ran off and noticed, with relief, that the other people were now avoiding her. She reshouldered her gun and smiled, continuing her little search without any interruptions from other people.

Geez did Kiwi have a hard time with the guards. He practically made a scene when one pulled him back into Sector01 before he slipped through the doors. Asking stuff like, "Where do you think you're going?"

"Let the kid pass through, Keelo. It's not like he's planning to destroy Shinra or anything." Another guard said. They both held a laugh, Kiwi was left in complete confusion over the matter.

"Yeah yeah, alright. Pass through, kid. Just make it to Sector03 before someone finds you in a bigger mess. People aren't too kind in 02."

Kiwi passed through unscathed after that matter, though extremely upset over one thing or another. What do they mean shinra? Aren't they gone? Is he on the enemy side of the war? Grah! That had to be it, or else why woudl everyone look so scuzzy? He had to find a hotel and fast before things got real bad and he was captured or something!

Alyssia looked over when she noticed a few of the guards giving a kid a hard time. She thought it was odd, there weren't any kids in this sector at all. 'Why would a kid be coming here, of all places?'

The kid looks around, passing Aly once. Before coughing a few times and waving the acrid smoke of this place out of his face. This place is even scuzzier and worse than the last place he was in! Loads more lights too. Lot more smiles, though...... Of course, those smiling being pimps trying to sell their women for easy cash.

"Ha!" Kiwi says, pointing to a big building with a bed for a sign, "There's the inn". And yes, it did say Inn written in sleezy neon, mako-electrified letters. With GIRLS GIRLS GIRLZ under it and on the other side of the building is a sign of a mostly nude woman with her hands on her bra.

To any who normally go through this area and/or know Midgar, this was The worst place to be in Sector02. Those too innocent and/or female end up getting taken advantage of or worse, used. Scary thought.

Kiwi slips inside.

Alyssia stared as the kid headed for the "inn." 'Oh great... That's not a good thing.' She sighed and shook her head. 'Damn it... I swear they don't pay me enough sometimes...' She hurried after the kid. It was obvious to her that the boy she was chasing after was new here.

Zane stepped into the glitzy mako-lighted area. He had no choice but to wander. But.. if the kid thought there was an inn here..

Oh no...

He'd never been into the place.. the.. what was it? Hasbed? 'inn', but it wasn't hard to hear of what sort of thing went on there.

He led himself towards the brothel's area, ignoring the solicitous noise the prostitutes on the street made in his direction. He was too focused to even be disgusted. With chagrin, he watched a glimpse of a Turk uniform, but not who was wearing it. Just the color, unmistakable. Here to break up some disgusting operation or to partake in it?

He wouldn't be too unsurprised if it was the latter rather than the former. He hoped the guy wouldn't see him, and carefully tails him. He lets his eyes drift for the first time. He couldn't help but leave his eyes on the ground, but anyone sufficiently sneaky had to look around. The Turk seemed intent though.

Finally the person went into the very place Zane was seeking. The place was garish at best, and lurid at worst.

Alyssia sighed in relief as she and Zane burst out of the 'inn.' She was holding her side slightly, the blow she took hurting like hell. Scanning the streets, Aly realized she had no idea where the kid would've taken off to; she didn't see him anywhere. 'God, I hope that kid hasn't gotten himself into more trouble...' She looked over at the man who had been helping her. "You have any idea where we should start looking for the kid? One of that jerkoff's guys is trailing him."

Zane shrugged. "I saw him out, but I didn't see which way he went.. Kid's probably lost for now. With the luck I've been having, I'll stumble over him later.."

Well, she's actually showing concern. Very un-Turkish in his mind, but hey, maybe he was wrong about them?

There was no sign of the kid or the slimeball that ran this place. And that was the only trace they could possibly have.

Alyssia sighed again, this time in annoyance. She leaned back against a wall, her hand not leaving her side, holding her gun by the shoulder strap in the other. "Oww... Damn bastard..." Being caught by surprise in a fight was never fun. She could attest to that from sparring matches she had with some of her fellow Turks.

Zane winced in pain. Since he had dashed out of that place, he had been running on adrenaline, but now, as it wore off, he felt that blow from the chain.

"Damn.. that chain hurt more than I thought.."

He patted at his pockets for a moment, and cursed.

"And here, without any potions." he muttered. He wouldn't ask a Turk for one. That'd be demeaning. It'd get better.. nothing felt broken, at least..

"It looks like we both got a bit of a beating.."

Alyssia nodded slightly. "Yeah, we did..." She searched through her pockets and pulled out two potions. She looked over at Zane, then offered one to him. "Thanks for the help." 'He was probably only there for the kid, but still...'

Zane wouldn't refuse an offered potion, of course. He took the bottle and knocked it back as quickly as possible. He hated these things, but they were useful.

"Blech.. these things taste terrible.." He rubbed his arm where the chain hit him.
"But they work.. That feels a bit better.."

Alyssia nodded and downed the one she still had, making a face afterwards. "God, I know... Worst tasting crap in the world, I think... Only reason I drink them is because they help..." 'Okay, maybe not. Chocobo greens are pretty nasty...' She recalled a dare a year or so back where she had to eat a few. She was sick for a week afterwards.

She stood up from the wall and stretched, her side feeling a bit better than before. Aly slipped the shoulder strap of her gun over her head, then turned to Zane. "You mind me asking your name?"

Zane hesitated a moment.. He honestly wouldn't want his name in the Turks' hands, even if it was a good word. On the other hand, it would seem more suspicious to provide no name at all. Definitely worse.

"Uh, my name's Zane.. um.. Ms. Turk.?"

Alyssia smiled at him and nodded. "Alyssia. Nice to meet you and thanks for your help back there. This probably would've been so much worse if you hadn't showed up." Unlike most people, Aly wasn't afraid to admit when she would've been in trouble. Hell, she knew she needed the help back there; two big guys with weapons weren't exactly easy to take down by yourself.

Zane nodded."Yeah.. I guess I could say the same. I dunno what I'dve done if you hadn't given that guy some spare holes."

Honestly, he was quite thankful. Getting knocked out in a hellhole like that would've been the worst of fates.

"I can't wait to get out of this cesspit.. too bad the kid's likely stumbling into some other trap."

Alyssia shook her head slightly. "God, I hope not... I think he's caused enough trouble indirectly for one day." She rubbed her arms slightly as if she was cold, but it was from nervousness more than anything. "I really wanna get out of here too... I hate this place." Aly sighed and tucked her bangs back behind her ears. She then blinked and looked up at Zane. "...Do you even know that kid...?"

Zane shook his head. "Bumped into me, asking for directions to the inn. Well, rather, he snuck up on me and scared the crap outa me for a moment, then ran off and went into sector 02." Zane sighed. "Before that, I never saw the kid in my life. I think he came into the city today. Looked like a Wutai kid, didn't he?"

Alyssia nodded slightly. "Yeah, he did. He also looked pretty damn young to be here by himself..." She shuddered slightly at that thought. "God, I hope he's not here by himself... The slums aren't exactly the greatest place for kids."

Zane nodded. "I didn't see anyone with him. He seemed pretty lost. I have a bad feeling he is alone out there." Zane shuddered too. "What a sickening thought. But I sure don't have any leads. Really, all we could do is pray for him."

Alyssia sighed softly. "Yeah, you've got a point. Poor kid." She shook her head. "He came to the wrong place. Should we try to look for him? I'm worried about the guy that was sent out after the kid." She adjusted the strap of her gun. "That kid also isn't exactly armed to fight..."

Zane hmmed and then nodded. "He might be fast, but he couldn't've gotten far. it's just that there's two directions he could've gone. I dunno how hard the creep-job that folowed is to beat, but if we split up, either of us could run into him."

Alyssia nodded slightly. "Yeah, that's a good idea. And it's only one guy. If it's as hard as taking on those two guys back there, then there's really something wrong." She pointed in the only two directions the kid could possibly head to, back to Sector 01 or towards Sector 03. "Which way you want?"

Zane shrugs for a moment and says. "I think I'll check out sector 03. The creep probably would've come back if the kid went for sector 01, after all."

"Perhaps... But if this guy comes off just as persistant as those two morons we fought inside, I wouldn't count on it." Alyssia started in the direction back to Sector 01, then stopped and gave Zane a wave with a bright smile. "See ya later!" She then turned back and ran off.

Zane blinked as she dashed around the alley's corner. What the hell just happened?
He shrugged. No time to waste. He could figure it out later.

With that, he took a different alley and then emerged at the 03 gate. He could go into the in-between or into sector 03 itself. 03 seemed a better and safer choice. He passed through the checkpoint into 03 without problems, once more.

Zane shuffled through the crowd tiredly, wishing the people would hurry up and let him get to sector 01. He couldn't stand how many people this city could accumulate in one place.. Finally the crowd breaks and he quickens his pace, passing ahead of the clumps of people dispersing towards various houses of ill-repute, be they gambling or worse. He ignored them and passed on, cutting a path straight around towards the first sector's gate.

A large, ultimately conspicuous shadow overhangs Zane before the poor guy would have any clue about it. Oh sure, the treasurehunter was passing through the crowds as they left to whichever destination. But in all truth most of that crowd was leaving to get out of the way of the monstertruck-sized thug with the giant sword that followed in babysteps behind Zane. Afterall, the npcs of this rp do not like getting squashed under shoes the exaggerated size of dumpsters!

Finally, Gorvt catches up to Zane. Broadening steps to stand infront of the guy now. The guy, coincidentially, with short brown hair and a shirt.

And don't get the thug wrong on this, there are many people in Midgar with short brown hair that enjoy wearing shirts. Crap, he spent the entire last day or three randoming picking off brownhaired, shirtwearing guys to see if they were who he was looking for.

"Excuse me." Gor started, his voice shaking the area practically. "I needs to ask youz sumz questions."

Overall, this was one formidible opponent. Why, he could practically crush Zane just by picking him up in one hand. The thug was HUGE! Steriod pushing as well, all those muscles coming out at every which corner (with exception to his head, which looks kinda small compaired to all those neck muscles bulging out under it). A shirt and pants, size XXXXL3, barely fit him. And the huge, curved scimitar mounted on his back was Definately cause for concern.

Also coincidentially, they were standing almost right infront of Hasbeds. But that's another matter altogether.

Zane turns slowly, in the shadow of this collossus standing just behind him. He can barely contain the sense of terror welling up in him, but, manages by some act of miracle-working, to keep his voice steady as he says, "Uhh... o-okay.." though in his mind he had a voice of paranoia and fear shouting Run you idiot! which he surpressed, but he could feel his feet almost involuntarily pulling him backwards, as if he could move out of the massive man's arm-reach.

Alyssia hurried through the streets of the sector. She had no real idea where to start looking for Zane and mostly was just wandering around in a hurry. A couple of guys came up to hit on her and she made short work of them, beating the snot out of them quickly. After a few minutes of searching, she spotted Zane and started to run towards him, then almost stopped dead when she saw the Hulk-dude. 'Damnit!' Aly shook her head slightly, then ran to Zane, intent on getting him out of there.

"Are youz the guy that was infronts of Hasbeds with a turk?" Gor, though ultimately intimidating and passively aggressive, was pretty dumbfounded and confused on how he was going to find the kid Jax wanted. Specially with the lack of detail.

His eyes blinked like two 60 ton bowling balls on a mission at Zane. Before he scratched his puny little head for a moment. "Cause youz looks like more like the guy the boss, Jaxtor, wants than the last fatassed guy I pulled over..."

Not soon after this, a very familiar turk pulls up to Save Zane! This concludes it for Gor.. "Excuse me, um," he's referring to the treasurehunter here.. "I'll needz to take yous with mes to the boss. Don't fight"

Alyssia grabbed a hold of Zane's arm and started to pull him away from the Hulk-man. "Come on! We gotta get out of here!" She doesn't even wait for Zane to react and just started to try dragging him off in a hurry. 'Gotta run, gotta run... Then gotta hide, gotta hide...'

Stumbles after Alyssa, shouting "Ow, hey, I can run you know!" as he tries to get his balance. He finally catches his dragging toes ahead of his heels, catching up speed. He matches her stride, running beside her. He doesn't, once more, even begin to look back at the huginormongous guy behind him to see if he's gonna follow. Zane hoped not. He breaks away towards the large gate, really hoping the guards didn't stop him.

Gorvt watched a huge Turk Escape scene take place. Putting a hand to the back of his head momentarily. Taking 3 steps to keep up to them, then just giving up after a point. He knows better than to deal with a turk. They always seem to get into their own troubles or pains.. Then the people they're involved with take the hurt of it somewhere in the end. Least, those are the stories he heard.

Finally, Gorvt just watched them run off. Muttering in his thunderiously low voice, "I need to get paid more for this." Before going to plan 2... waiting around for Zane to show up again.

Alyssia kept running through the sector, shoving random people out of her way as she and Zane ran for the gate. There was gonna be hell there if those guards tried to stop her again, mostly in the form of her bitching them out for getting in her way AGAIN...maybe being punched too. She was not in the mood to deal with them, especially with the Hulk-man that wasn't chasing after them chasing after them.

Zane weaves through the disrupted crowd, gaining a few nasty looks and gestures, and quite a lot of nasty words thrown his way. Zane just didn't stop moving, which is what comprised most of his collisions with people. You try being chased by a steroid golem and see if you care about other people he thought, only slightly glancing to his side to see if Aly had been lost or not. Having confirmed this, he tunnels ahead, his only thoughts focusing on that huge pair of doors that were growing closer. I don't get paid enough to be a hero, so what the hell was I thinking!? he elaborates in his mind. The turk could've handled it.

As Alyssia ran for the gate with Zane, one of the guards thought it would be a wise idea to stand in her way. Worst mistake ever, especially when dealing with a couple of people that were running for their lives. Aly literally ran smack into the guard, both her and him tumbling to the ground. "What the hell?!" She and the guard both got up at the same time, and Aly proceeded shove the guard back out of her way and continued running.

The guard stumbled back and fell to the ground again. "...Man... I don't get paid enough..." Aly stopped and threw a little rock at the guard. "Hey! That's my line!" Then turned and ran off into Sector 01. The guard stood up and shook his head in confusion.

Zane smirked as he slid past the tumbledown guard Alyssa knocked over, wondering if they were all thinking about their paychecks, nonexistant as his was. He leaps through the gate and charges into sector 01, somewhat relieved that He-Man hadn't caught up with him.

Remember Kiwi? Yeah, it's been a while since he's been around Sector 2. And now he's found himself passing by the guards at the gates from 03 in a tattered, poorly sewn, blood-stained Midgar shirt. On a very important mission. To get some food before he blood well starves himself. Kids gotta eat.

And yeah, there were plenty of restraunts and stops along the way for food. The smell of food clung in the air about as much as the smoke.

Kiwi, of course, passed by all this. He was rushing through Sector 02 to get to 01. This place was Way too scary to hang out in. Specially when Jaxtor - the owner of Hasbeds - was infront of the place yelling at a 6 ton, steriod pushing thug named Gorv't.

Course, the thug and whorehouse owner were coincidentially talking about Kiwi.

"Why haven't you caught the kid yet!? Green highlites, Yay tall? Looks like he's from the other side of freaking Gaia?!??! Hard to miss, ya idiot!"

Gorvt frowns, "hez doesn't have browns hair and a shirt?"


Kiwi slips by in the crowd and makes it safely to 01.
