Just so you guys aren't stuck wondering. Or to fix any future problems of people's characters saying something like, "Vincent V.? Yeah, I know him. We met before at such and such a place".. Or "Hey, is that Cloud over there?"

This is a thread to tell you people where current characters are in the game AND what has and hasn't happened yet.

Cloud and Tifa are still at Nibelhiem. Cloud wont run off for another 3 or so years.

Barret is living in North Corel. Nope, it still exists. Dyne is still friends with him. Marlene hasn't been born yet..

Aeris is 12 and SHOULD hypothetically be around Slum 05. You will Never see her.

RedXIII is in Cosmo Canyon. Doing Nanaki things. And still bickering. He'd be about 38 years old. =P Give or take 12 in Nanaki years.

Sephiroth (The real one) hasn't died yet. That wont happen for another 5 years. This means that there are no Seph Clones being made currently. Ie, no I through XII projects.

Yuffie is in Wutai. 6 years old. Wee Yuffie.

Cait Sith Hasn't been built yet. Either that or he's some toy that Gast made for young Aeris. We're still figuring that one out.

Vincent is still in a coffin. Gast is dead. Hojo is playing with scientific projects on floors 67 and 68 of the shinra building, but nothing big yet.

Cid is toying with planes, cursing himself deaf, and planning rocketships. He wont blow anything major or ruin his sense of accomplishment for another 5 or so years.

Zack is in Gongaga. He hasn't joined Soldier yet.


Other stuff.


There was a war between Wutai and Shinra that lasted a good 10 years. It ended 2 years previous to the rp. I think an after-effect of this was the increased price in materia, the gun in Junon, and the fact that the people of Wutai became materia smugglers.

Shinra has expanded and are in the process of looking for places to build reactors. They haven't hit every town yet.

Reno, Rude, and Elena wont be in the Turks. Tseng should be, though.

Hypothetically, Soldier shouldn't exist yet, but we're cutting corner with this for the rp. And it's in debate wether we should keep it or not. Probably will.

Avalanche has started up by some unnamed guy in Cosmo Canyon around now. They haven't reached Midgar (of course)
