I'm playing FF7 (for you people who didn't catch the hint so far) and I'm still on disk one. Buffing up Aeris so I can get her fourth level limit break =P Cause.. ya know.. Well... ^^```

I finally hit part 2 of her third level LB. Cause, funny enough, giving your characters Fury and running around in the woods about fort condor works Real well on buffing up limit breaks. Having succeeded in that part of my quest I went back to Fort Condor for a free nap and saving.

But DAMMIT ALL! Halfway over there, so short a distance after an hour of character buffing, the game crashes on my comp... ;; now I have to buff her 3rd level stuff back up all over again *lower lip trembles*

Ya know... This happened once to me before, while playing FF7 on the Playstation. I got through all those huge scenes and battles at the end of disk 1, then after the most devistating one (where it tells you to pop in disk 2)... It didn't tell me to pop in disk 2.. the screen just went black... I waited there for 5 minutes, staring at the screen, waiting for something to come up like.. oh... 'put in disk 2'. or 'disk 1 has ended, would you like to save?'. But nothing. Turns out that there was a fault in disk 1 for my first copy of FF7 *bangs head on desk over that memory*. I roared out, "NOOOO!!!!" and went into depression for a while. But got over it and went back to playing that whole deal over again.


Now it's your turn. Either empathize with me or tell me your own stories of time dealing with a game to have to lock up, freeze, the power die, someone turns it off on your, or the game to crash. Something that made you not only go, "NOOO!!" But just absolutely loose it and/or get depressed/upset over it. ^^` and if you recovered from it to keep playing that specific game..

Well, I don't know if it's traumitizing like yours... But I discovered my FFV disc is rather messed up and very sadistic...

So I was wandering around, leveling up my guys for an upcoming boss fight. (They were currently about lv 18 or so.) Go through, beat the snot out of a few groups of monsters, lather, rinse, repeat. Well, one of the fights I ended up in was NOT the norm...

This fight starts up and almost immediately something just died. No reason. It was literally: fight starts, Poof!dead. Didn't even get a chance to see what it was. The second monster was easy enough, even though you fight it later on in the game.

But the last monster in the group... That was what made things not cool. Up in the top right corner of the screen was something looked like a frog. I look at the name for the monster and realize it's not just any monster... It's Neo ExDeath, which is the Final Boss! I'm lv 18 and the final boss has become a random encounter. I try to run away and get the "Can't run" message. I realize pretty quick that I can't run because I'm fighting the final boss! It attacks and does 4000 damage to one of my guys. Kills them instantly, since none of my characters were even over 2000 HP yet. So I do the one thing I can think of: turn the damn game off.

Haven't touched the game since... I don't need to see a little frog kick my ass...
