Title: Kakuritsugosa no Izakaya
Description: a new tavern
Akisu - December 30, 2005 07:39 AM (GMT)
This is a new tavern that popped up recently. After so many missed sake during the sake shortage there has been an increase in drinking.
---------------------------------------
*Aki stepped into the new tavern, it still looked relatively clean. They must not have had many bar fights or customers that couldn't hold their liquor yet. After dealing with Enma and finding out more about his real father, he needed a drink before heading back to the inn. It was a requirement at this point as far as Aki was concerned.*
*It didn't take him long to spot Ame in the corner of the bar. It took Aki a moment to recognize her without her wearing green. He hesitated a moment before deciding to walk over to her and sitting across from her at the table.* Hi Ame, don't like green anymore?
KrazyKelli - December 30, 2005 07:53 AM (GMT)
She was just sitting there. Noone really bothered the woman nor took the time to notice her. And by the time Toushin Akisu passed his way through a few short tables, he could understand why. The area around her reeked. This extended beyond the regular piss smell of sake that naturally fumed around the woman. The smell was not her regular unshowered bodyoder, either.
And when the theif gone general gone fortress caretaker neared, he could slowly see that while the clothing she wore was a faded, crusty brown, she was still wearing the same outfit.
Which brings us back to the smell that swelled dangeriously in her usual scent trail. Death. The new color of clothing? Heaps and buckets of dried blood.
A scarred finger - belonging to a bandaged hand - carressed the sake bottle. Blood-stained hair covered eyes partially as the baikokudo raised her gaze to meet the generals. Sister and brothers eyes meet.
"******ing ******erd of ******, what does it matter? What the ****** are you doing in my new damn hangout?" was muttered carelessly from alcohal-laden lips. The noise of random passerby's outside continued, unabaited.
Akisu - December 30, 2005 08:00 AM (GMT)
*Aki's nose scrunched when the smell hit him. The smell of death was one he was a bit used to, but not enough to not react to this stench.*
I needed a drink, but if I knew you were stinking up the place I might have reconsidered! *Still, he didn't move and ordered a bottle of sake. Even the smell wouldn't drive him away. He was far too stubborn for Ame to drive him off so easily.* You should be using the money for that sake to go to the bathhouse. *He grumbled at her.*
KrazyKelli - December 30, 2005 08:11 AM (GMT)
Taking a pretty hardcore swig of sake, "Don't make me kill you, Aki" Amethyst threw the now empty sakebottle corpse over her shoulder. Where it joined a pile of its friends. It appears that Ame hasn't moved from this spot for quite a time. A surprise she hasn't gotten sores from sitting there so long.
Dark green eyes of a killer traveled her way over to the bartender, who just got in from the kitchen to get the dirty dishes. This was his tavern, he owned it. Soul owner of Kakuritsugosa. So when the woman demands sake, "Gimme more ******ing sake, NOW", the guy looks over for a moment and shrugs.
"You've given me loose change, woman. I don't care if you are a killer, you're going to owe me."
A throwing knife (maybe it was stolen from aki on previous adventures) wizzed through the air and passed right by the bartenders head, landing with a decent thunk into the wood behind him. At the same time Ame roared out, "I'll pay you with the shit from the next guy's pockets, Getsu! MORE"
"And killing me," Mangetsu replies. During the knife throwing frenzy he had retrieved a dirty glass and began to clean it with his apron. "Will shut this place down. That means no sake for you, either." He was calm and reserved.
Ame lost it. Glaring at Aki. Getting up dramatically. Stomping food on her table (which knocks a few more empty sake bottles off of it) And grabbing her sword, "AKI! Pay him some ******ing yen or I'll Kill you"
Akisu - December 30, 2005 08:19 AM (GMT)
You wouldn't kill me. *Aki glared back, sounding completely sure of himself, though really he wasn't. He then sighed and pulled out the wad of yen Enma had just paid him and set down a good amount of it on the table. It was enough for about ten bottles.* But I will get you some sake, for a... birthday present or something, just don't ask again! *Aki really had no idea when Ame's birthday was, but it was a good excuse to buy her anything.*
KrazyKelli - December 30, 2005 08:24 AM (GMT)
There was a long pause.
Ame watching Aki. Aki watching Ame. Mangetsu getting the money and serving Ame 10 more bottles with a shrug.
Eventually, something is said, "How the ****** did you know it was my birthday? I never told you." Furrowing her eyebrows, suddenly very unsure about what to do with the sake. Continueing to reek. Plopping back down in her semi-comfortable position whilst resheathing sword. And here she was finally intending to kill Akisu once and for all.
Akisu - December 30, 2005 08:33 AM (GMT)
Eh?! I didn't know! It ... was a lucky guess. *Aki was surprised he'd guessed it himself. He then crossed his arms stubbornly and glared back at Ame.* Well... happy birthday then.
Hey, Getsu or whatever the hell your name is. I'll get my sake to go. This place stinks too much. *He yelled at the bartender, then got up and grabbed the sake bottle from him on his way out, throwing him a bit of yen. He could drink on his way back to the inn. Aki then stepped out of the tavern.*
Kakarrot-Sama - January 7, 2006 08:57 AM (GMT)
*A hooded man walks in from the rain and takes a seat. He tries to keep warm so he takes off his overcoat. The man had jet black hair slicked back and ice blue eyes with a branded flame symbol over his right eye. He concealed his armored arm underneath his robe. He takes out a chinese pipe then searches for a lite. He then look at Ame*
Hey miss, you got a lite?
KrazyKelli - January 7, 2006 09:12 AM (GMT)
Ame continued to just sit there in her own little secluded corner, smelling up the place with her death, sake, and bodyoder. Absolutely plastered in alcohal, which was in empty bottles all around her. Fact of the matter is that the woman was trying to space out the sake that Aki bought her. Cause, well, she couldn't kill the bartender to get more and most people avoid this place now Because of her - so she can't mug them for cash to buy her sake.
When the rat entered the place and demanded her for a light, she responded in pure Ame fasion. Yelling, "What? Do I look like a got some damn flint lodged up my ass? Piss off, bastard"
Kakarrot-Sama - January 7, 2006 09:19 AM (GMT)
*He took the pipe out of his mouth and looked at her strangely* Hey listen here lil miss bitch of the week, don't throw your shit on me lady. I just asked for a f**kin lite. *his armored fist cletched underneath his robe*
KrazyKelli - January 7, 2006 09:29 AM (GMT)
She just sunk back into her place. Like a waterbottle in robes, during the previous slang she flew she sat up slightly.. But eventually simply shifted back into a slouch against the wall. The words just dribbling from her mouth, "Yeah? Well ya should've expected I'd respond like that, asshole. Go ****** off to another bar if you don't like it here". The bartender furrowed his brows at this, though didn't join the fight of nasty tongues.
Course, even though Ame has hit rock bottom, her thoughts were taunting her with ways she could kill the guy and steal his money. Not at all know who this is. Or Why he came here to pick a fight with her. Just scowlingly subconsciously over her hatred of men in general.
Kakarrot-Sama - January 7, 2006 09:36 AM (GMT)
*The woman at the other table was a cocky and rude bitch. He then noticed she doesn't look like she's in reality at the moment so he though he could just kill her and steal her money. Then he remembered his last encounter with that thought. But something about the woman bugged him to the point where he moved toward her table just to see what else she'd say or do*
KrazyKelli - January 7, 2006 09:47 AM (GMT)
The closer the jerkoff got to her, the more he could get a whiff of that unnatural reek. She smelled like a corpse dried out in the sun for a week, soaked in alcohal, and pissed on. Was truely something to gag from and probably the answer towards why no other customers were there. Seriously, the smell could kill flies.
Ame just watched the bastard with her dark green eyes. Sitting there in her blood drenched, not brown/crusty robes. It was when he got into an unrespectible distance that she unsheathed Shin'i, pointing it at him. Her face devoured by a scowl and glare, "What, I'm not close enough to piss on from over there? Get the ****** out of here or I'll kill you, skin ya, and sell parts or ya to make more sake."
Kakarrot-Sama - January 7, 2006 10:00 AM (GMT)
The man's sword was unsheathed the same time Ame unsheathed her. They pointed it at each other and his bronze armored arm was exposed. The rightside of his torso was also exposed revealing horrific burns, slashes, gashes and stetchings. Suddenly, his voice grow deep alil and his ice blue eyes sharpened at her eyes. Has blade was a dark brownish color...it too was covered in dried up blood. He then stared at her and gave an evil like smirk*
It seems we have the same thought, but even with you smelling like death doesn't convince me that you could bring it.
KrazyKelli - January 7, 2006 10:28 AM (GMT)
She took a gander at his disfigurement. Though moreover his sword. Was miraculous that he was just hte right distance away for her 3 feet of curved, almost rusty blade to be just short. And that's what made her brows furrow.
Meanwhile, the owner of the place, Getsu, muttered out a, "If one of you kills the other, kindly dispose of the remains outside of my bar." from his safe place behind the bar. Cleaning a glass while being inconspicuous like he was damn well good at doing. Can't blame him, though. Was his tavern of random error.
Ame's eyes glanced over to the owner, before locking onto the 'unknown' man's. No, it was obvious that she was either too out of it or too stubborn to realize who he was.
So, to make a long story short, she leans forwards with her sword in attempt to cut into him. Dispite if he cuts her right back.
Kakarrot-Sama - January 7, 2006 11:03 AM (GMT)
*The man took the stab well towards his left arm while he jammed the sword closely near her ear at the same time. He smirks at her bravery of proving him wrong knowning that she'd do such a thing. This woman very much interesting to him and he ignored the owner and glares at her. He then crossed his blade to the front of his neck while having her blade go in his fleshed arm deeper. His blood traveled down her sword's blood groove and he comes face to face with the smelly killer chic*
You got some nerve striking a stranger that you don't even know *smirks* What's your name? I must know before one of us happens to kills each.
KrazyKelli - January 7, 2006 11:15 AM (GMT)
Poor Ame was so deeply involved with stabbing the guy that she almost goes berserk. But the images of brutally biting off his head, removing his intestine, and spiking him through the ass with a spear are driven away when she pulls back, Shin'i slowly sliding back out of his shoulder. Her pupils dilate into tiny pinpoints for a moment before returning to normal. Good escape from insanity, it was.
Course, this also means that she nearly missed what he said. So it took her a moment to remember what language he was speaking before eventually coming around to understanding the question that was said. And, well, in response she just thumbs back a bloodcaked hand to a wanted poster on the wall that hung there as inconspicuous as the bartender. Ya know, the one with her picture on it looking all evil, wearing deep green robes (that were now tinted brown with the blood of course), her name written across it in big bold words. Some incomprehensible bounty on it that Ame couldn't possible know how to read.
Kakarrot-Sama - January 7, 2006 11:31 AM (GMT)
*He then narrowed his eyes and moved back then yanked the blade out of his arm.*
hmm?
*He thought for a moment but he tried to convince himself it wasn't. "Could it be", he said to himself, then he swiped his sword away from her neck making it leave a clean cut scar across her neck. He then takes his sword and stabbed it into her left shoulder sleeve to reveal her traitor brand*
I know that brand....And I know you.
KrazyKelli - January 10, 2006 07:10 AM (GMT)
She didn't flintch when he cut her neck (which hurt, btw), however the woman did when he cut her sleeve. Kinda different, eh? Specially since she has no nerves or important veins in that sleeve. His wording only served to piss her off beyond belief. Green eyes flaring with emotions of anger (and a passion to hate). Glowering at him, "What of it? Everyone knows about it"
For the first time in a long time, Ame felt like getting up and leaving the place. Which would've been good news to the bartender and health department. Bad news for Ame's smelly streak.
Kakarrot-Sama - January 10, 2006 07:28 AM (GMT)
*The man took the blade out of her sleeve and sheathed his sword. He looked down at her and his ice blue eyes gave her a cold stare, the familar stare of death. He then revealed the flaming brand traitor symbol into the light.* I am also a traitor of the country, and I remember little girl around the age of 15 or 16 who had the same exact symbol on her left shoulder.
