Death Note is basically about this really smart highschool student who finds the Death Note. It's a note book the gods of death use to kill people. All he has to do is see a person's picture and know their real name, write it down, and they will die.
Sounds simple, right?
This manga goes into a lot of cat in mouse kind of games. Raito starts killing off criminals using the Death Note, but then another character named L comes in and vows to find the person killing all of these criminals.
It's really good, though if you don't like lots of dialog, I wouldn't suggest it.
Wow, now this sounds like my cup of tea indeed. I'm looking forward to read this.
