For who that dosen't know, this is a music sim much like Guitar Freaks and Drunmania, but IMO, much better. I've been playing this game for quite awhile now though I never thought to post something about it. :P

I absolutely love this game! My skill level is like Hard/Expert. I normaly play on Expert, but there are songs that I still didn't master on hard mode.

Heres the song list, good music I think. ^^)v I for one can't wait until GH2 comes out. :)

Oh dude, I've been hearing so much about this game from friends. I think Kevsco or Squic originally IMed me about it (or both), and for the longest time I confused DDR as DnDRoleplay instead of DanceDanceRevolution - so that screwed me over. But after watching X-play on G4 interview it, giving it a 5/5, I got set right. I so BADLY wanna play Guitar Hero, but lack the funds =P Specially after I got a new dvd player XD

How hard is it, anyway?

Graywolf - May 29, 2006 03:44 AM (GMT)
It's fairly easy on easy mode but if your familur with the Guitar it should be cake walk. My brother was tell me about his friend's girlfriend who plays the guitar jumed stright into expert beating the songs no problem.

If your only familur with video games, like I was, it will only seem to get hard in medium. By playing through career mode you get a nice transition from easy to medium to hard to expert.

Only down fault is that you have to buy all the bonus songs and other extras for career mode for each difficulty. But they will get unlocked for multi player and quick play by buying them once.

Yeah I didn't buy it either, my brother bought it. :P

KrazyKelli - May 29, 2006 03:48 AM (GMT)
^^` do ya have to buy the songs? Or would I survive with what they have? I mean, I seriously don't wanna pay extra to play the game =P

Graywolf - May 29, 2006 03:55 AM (GMT)
Oh, it's money you earn in the game by playing career mode. LIke if you rock out the hose they'll give you 550 dollors or if you only pass by luck you'll get about 100 dollors.

Songs are about 250-350 each. Characters, there are two, 6000 and 8000 plus three videos that are cheap.

KrazyKelli - May 29, 2006 04:07 AM (GMT)
Ooooooooooooooh... Well, that's bloody comforting =P cause man would it blow if I had to throw in 15 bucks to fully enjoy the game XD.

What's the entertainment value? Does the game ever get repetative?

Graywolf - May 29, 2006 04:17 AM (GMT)
Well even though you keep playing the same songs over and over again I still find myself wanting to play more and more. It's great by yourself and with friends. If it was here and not at my brothers house I would be playing it right now. After unlocking all the songs, I normaly just go to quick play and rock out with my favorite songs. So I think this game has tons a replay value.
